Beautiful calm walk with a few nice ponds, small lakes, streams etc. Wonderful paths thru gardens, butterflies, birds and a cool breeze. Sitting areas and Pavillion are available. No charge to enter or park. Great for a picnic! Great fir sitting in front of a small pond with available chairs and reading,  meditation,  listening to a low radio, etc. Just well kept and clean. Nobody smoked weed, Nobody played outrageous loud music, no disorderly kids, no skateboarder,  just peace and serenity.

We love this paradise in the middle of the city. You can come with your dog and have a lovely day and even make a picnic. We came last weekend to see the youth orchestra and it was such a magical environment to listen to Christmas carols outdoors.

Small and wild, it has so many varieties, a great place for green thumbs. Me has non but still enjoyed it.

Many volunteers are working there, who are friendly and talkative, even thanking us for feeding the mosquitos ha ha ha. Ops I only managed to kill one, unintentionally, as I was scratching my itchy leg.

Absolutely loved the evening hosted by fever! Such a classy ambience and atmosphere with the candles ! The musicians were spectacular. Will highly recommend and will go again soon!

This is an amazing place that is free to the public. It's hard to feel some connection with nature with the area getting so overdeveloped and Mead Gardens is a little sanctuary, especially with the large trees that offer some shade from the hot Florida sun. There are benches and adirondack chairs all over the place, which are great places to relax and take in the scenery. Definitely worth going to.
