Dayna is a delight! We felt like guests in her cozy inviting home while dining. The wine was wonderful- a perfectly curated list of options! Every dish was sublime. We had the shrimp to start (do not miss this, the broth is wildly good!) I enjoyed the scallops and my husband had the lamb (he loved it!), we finished with banana wontons. Such attention to every detail from a tiny sliver of a kitchen- It is a special place!

Calida has earned its 5 ⭐️ reviews. Wow. I had such a great experience here. When you get there your GPS will probably take you to a shoe repair place (go around to the front and it’s right next door). The restaurant is cozy and small so as it fills up it gets very crowded and noisy but that doesn’t take away from the experience.

For starters we had the board, tuna crudo and a special of the night which was fried smelt. The smelt was so good I wish it was always on their menu. The crudo had amazing flavor and came with these wonderful sauces. The board was fine (we like to have things to nosh on but I don’t think this is necessarily something I’d recommend. I think it could have used some condiments like a jelly or mustard but the selection was good and the crostini bread was flavorful)

For our mains we tried the duck, the flank steak, and there was a lamb special. Everything was out of this world. Presented beautifully, and so flavorful. We paired our dinner with a bottle of Pinot noir from Austria and it was so good.

For dessert we had the dessert board and cheesecake and we each got an affogato. I know I keep saying it but everything was freaking amazing. So so so good.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant or our experience.

An exquisite dining experience at this cozy gem in St Pete. We were gifted a dinner at Calida and were blown away in every aspect.  Dayna was warm and welcoming as she  guided us through the menu.  We started with the Shatta Shrimp appetizer.   WOW Argentine shrimp with Middle Eastern hot sauce. For entrees, we chose the signature Chow Noodles and Arctic Char.  Chef Ian blended fresh ingredients and spices to truly make this one of our finest dining experiences.  We ended the evening with two scrumptious desserts. Don't miss the cheesecake with its graham cracker crust and fluffy European style cheesecake. The strawberry dessert board was loaded with homemade cream, dark chocolates, and everything yummy.

We have returned!! The second visit was as good as the first. We tried new specials and were absolutely thrilled. From appetizers to dessert, there's not a weak spot on the menu.  Thanks again Dayna and Ian. Our new favorite restaurant in St Pete ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been three times and every experience has been outstanding. It’s a very intimate space with such care taken with each detail. We often go out to eat and leave thinking we could have done as well or better if we made it at home. But that hasn’t happened here yet! The arctic char is my favorite, their charcuterie board is uniquely delicious - charred grapes and grape tomatoes, so so good, and be sure to try the cheesecake for dessert. It isn’t your typical heavy New York style, no, this is light and airy with a lemon curd and berry reduction. Oh and the mussels, how the chef imparts so much flavor is simply astounding. The chef is very accommodating and will adjust his dishes as much as he can to meet your desires. I prefer a bit less char and they accepted my request.

Be sure you  budget enough time as this is a lovely slow paced dining experience; plan for 2 hours. You won’t feel rushed and the quality and care is worth the wait.

This is our favorite place in town.
