Delicious food and attentive service. The menu is small and thoughtfully curated. My group ordered dishes to share family-style and the standout was definitely the pork belly. The atmosphere is relaxed and intimate. Grateful the host was able to squeeze my group in on a Saturday with a last minute reservation - they get booked up! Highly recommend, just make a reservation ahead of time and be prepared to hunt for street parking on busier days.

Great for somewhat of a special evening out. This is not a place where you will eat your fill or get more than a couple drinks for less than $80-100 per person. However, you can still certainly have some light bites and a drink or two without breaking the bank. The 70s atmosphere of the bungalow house, the oil lamps, all of it is very well done from an ambience standpoint.

The staff is very knowledgeable about the different sakes and their unique tasting notes. Food is good. The cucumbers are fantastic. The braised short rib gyoza are okay, but nothing special. It tastes like every other braised short rib you've ever had. Get the pork belly instead. It's not too thick or fatty. Our friends ordered it and it was absolutely amazing.

St. Pete is so lucky to have this place. Everything about it is phenomenal and worth it. Just go see for yourself.

They offer a rotating noodle (usually a ramen) which is always unique and delicious.  The rest of the menu changes semi-frequently and never disappoints me in its fusion of flavors.

The music is eclectic and exclusively vinyl. You’ll hear one side of a record and then another and then back to the other side. It keeps the atmosphere fresh and your ears delighted.

It’s small, but that’s part of the charm. Try to sit outside if you’re a large party; the policy is that they’re a “lowercase establishment”. The sake will repay you for your respect.

Oh and if your idea of sake is limited to having it hot, or only at a sushi spot then you’ll be pleased to come here and learn a lot in a short visit.

It’s not often you come across a place so attentive to the details and so willing to share the unique experience with you.

Anyway, try it out and come back again and again, and maybe let it become your favorite spot.

The most interesting place in St. Pete. A true gem in every way. Menu changes constantly but the quality and creativity never wavers. So much fun to learn about sake and eat tasty bites while vibing in such a warm, inviting atmosphere. Truly a special place.

One of the most unique dining experiences I've had in Florida.

First off, I've read about Japanese listening houses and have always wanted to go to one so when I saw that there was one in St. Pete I couldn't pass it up.

The atmosphere is 10/10 as this place seems to be a house converted into a restaurant, so it's cozy and intimate.

The food is absolutely incredible. The menu changes up every so often, but when I was there, there was quite the selection.

Everything was delicious.

The service is top notch. Skye (spell?) Was my server, who was super helpful and knowledgeable on the menu.

Like I said, it's a listening house, so when I was there, they had a DJ who was playing vinyls, one side at a time, to fit the vibe of the night.

You won't be disappointed by stopping in. I highly recommend it!
