They are short on help, but who isn't these days?

I had the house stromboli and a beer. Also have had the Gourmet pizza and Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread. Always delicious food here. Their calzones and stromboli is also good. They recently renovated the space and it looks great!

More good times at Johnny's! The Syracuse Stuffer and Bronx Bomber are must-haves at this joint!

They now have expanded into the next space and have a reservations-only room.

I ordered meat calzone, kids ravioli and bread knots, I spent the night sick. The calzone dough and ravioli pasta was semi raw in the inside. The meat calzone too greasy. I used to live in New York City, eating in dozens of pizza joints and in my experience, these place can do better. My calzone picture is attached.

Johnny's has to be the most hidden gem I've found in Macon.  My brother recommended it (he's local) so my wife and I went.  It was busy when everything around it was closed for the night.  We were totally happy with the beer, wine, calzones, and salads.  Will definitely eat here the next time we are in town!

Delicious flavor on all the slices of pie we tried! The chicken was quite dry, but the flavor was great overall. Yes, they sell pizza by the slice! Rare find in the south (we are spoiled  by Home Slice in Austin tx)…. Service was great, beer cold, wine 🍷 yummy!

I've been to this place several times and it's great every time but the the tip is to come when they're busy so the pizza is fresh fresh because we came around 4pm and the pizza slices we got weren't top notch like we've had before. The slices are just reheated pizzas and it's not that great, to be honest. So, I'm just letting people know if you want REALLY good I wouldn't recommend hrs between 3:30 & 5pm. And I'm sure this only applies to people that are getting pizza by the slice.
