This is a culinary experience like no other. An art show of superbly prepared dishes with ingredients and tastes never experienced before. The service is first class. It is insanely expensive but worth every penny. There is no doubt how this restaurant earned the coveted Michelin star.

Impeccable experience from start to finish thanks to the friendliest staff and sumptuous food.  The foie gras was perfectly cooked (just the right amount of firmness while keeping that melt in your mouth quality) and flavors expertly balanced contrasting just the right amount of sweetness.  The risotto also had the perfect texture and the truffles’ earthy accents were to die for and paired so well with the glass of Nebbiolo.  Lately restaurants have been using Australian truffles whose flavor profile is lacking and I’d much rather have delicious diminutive authentic truffles than copious amounts of what tastes like shredded discs of construction paper.  The truffles felt like a reoccurring theme throughout the meal from the initial amuse bouche butter complemented perfectly with the rosemary. The flavors in the fish dish were also perfectly executed which when you hear “mint oil” and “kiwi” you would think might overwhelm or overpower the dish but not at all again the proportions were perfect!  Also, I could probably write a paragraph on the braised cheek and meat dish….truly truly an excellent dining experience.   Whoever did the Michelin review  for this establishment was asleep at the wheel because based on our meal last night  Lazy Betty is a 2 star establishment by any measure.

Lazy Betty was hard to find, almost hidden, but what a find! The food is delicate, flavorful, pretty to look at and delicious to eat. Each dish is layered with touches of flavors and textures, a really well executed menu. The staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and attentionate, service was flawless. The team really took great care of our table and chef Phillips came to say a quick hello at the end of the meal. A nice touch to conclude a really fun evening and an all around great experience.
Now, it is not cheap in absolute $, but in another way, it is... (look at these pictures!).

The service was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm.
