I was first surprised and excited to see Talat is a neighborhood restaurant. The weather was perfect for sitting out on the sidewalk, although it looks like I was missing out on a good time at the bar.
We started with $2 oysters from the happy hour menu. We then had the crispy rice salad, tofu, and we had the yucca dessert with coconut cream! Everything was fresh and bright.  I’m looking forward to heading back.

I visited Talat Market with my partner for his birthday. Our table reservation was a little behind schedule but the staff made sure we had cocktails and a seat at the bar as we waited. We were certainly not forgotten about. Our server recommended 4-6 plates between the two of us and it was the perfect amount of food. The tom yum soup was the best I ever had in my life. Their bathrooms are single and all gender which is much appreciated. The service truly was the standout. They wiped the table multiple times and replaced our napkins when we went to the restroom. Each person we interacted with gave top notch service!

Friends wanted to try this recent Michelin Reviewed and James Beard nominated restaurant right in our backyard. We decided to go this past weekend for a birthday. Portions were smaller than what you might expect from typical Asian restaurant; however, the flavors and tastes were spot on! The drinks were also amazing. We ordered practically everything on the menu. After living in Atlanta for 30+ years - I am excited to have found this place and got to experience it. Definitely will be back once the menus rotate to try other things!

We finally made it to Talat Market, this cute neighborhood restaurant near Grant Park. You need to reserve a table since this place is always full and packed with people. Don’t expect the „classic“ Thai restaurant with classic dishes such as Tom Yam, Tom Kha soup, various curries.. It is a small but delicious variation of food they serve there: rice, fish, a green curry, meat. The quality of the food is delicious, the prices are a bit on the higher end (therefore only 4 stars). The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable, if you like real Thai beer - the serve the Chang beer as well. Overall a really nice experience and we can recommend Talat Market for your next date night out 🤗

Great Thai-twisted food ❤️. They inspire by Thai food and Laos food. Really lovely atmosphere in the restaurant especially the mural. All of the staffs and chefs are really nice and friendly. I would probably recommend to reserve the table before coming here due to a lot of customers there. They change the menu probably everyday depending on the fresh ingredients they got daily.
