OhEmGeeeeeee!!! Anytime I’m in Hapeville I have to stop by Johnny’s. This location is my absolute favorite. It’s always clean, the service is above standard, and best of all, the food is AMAZING!!!!

When you walk in, the ambiance puts you in the mindset of a neighborhood favorite. The design is simple yet fun and there is ample space so feeling crowded isn’t a thing. Clean tables. Clean floors. And best of all, a clean kitchen area.

This visit I decided to do takeout. I went to the counter, placed my order, and had a seat at the bar until my order was ready.

As always, as soon as I walk into Johnny's I am constantly conflicted on if I want Pizza or a Calzone. You don’t understand, everything at Johnny’s is soooooooooooo good. I want it alllllllllllll. However, due to me trying to unbig my back, I can’t do it. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

One Word…. SPECTACULAR!!!!

Everything was fresh. It had the perfect bread to filling ratio. This is important as too much bread or not enough bread or filling can ruin the entire experience. However, Johnny’s NEVER fails and the Italian Special was spot on.

Meaty Pepperoni, well seasoned sausage, fresh mushrooms, perfectly sized onion & green peppers and the seasoned ricotta & mozzarella cheese hit perfectly and brought the entire experience to life.

Now, me being me… I had to smother it in Parmesan Cheese… don’t judge me! 😭

Claims to be NY style,  it’s not!  It’s thin like NY but that’s it.  Ordered a side of meatball and sausage, check out the pic below, they charged $10 for that… crazy.  Pizza was good

The people were great! The crust was great tasting and the sauce was good as well. The crust was thin on the bottom and any toppings caused half of each slice to completely flop. Even a NY fold couldn't add enough support. I would still eat here again, the pizza tasted great.

I absolutely enjoy coming here. The food is always excellent and the side salad is fantastic!

My experience was decent! I’ll give my server 5 stars for just dealing with the rowdy group I was with. They were not pleasant but the server kept her composure the entire time. Coddles to her for patience. I also thought the atmosphere was very chill. The food was just ok but I would still go back. Overall I recommend a visit
