We stayed here Dec 27-31 and had a pleasant, comfortable experience.  The lobby was nice and inviting and the parking was easily accessible.  I liked the fact that it was connected to Ala Moana shopping center and away from crowded Waikiki.  No resort fee and parking fee was reasonable as well.  The room itself was comfortable, had a balcony and nice.  Being able to do laundry was nice, although the machines were always busy and some were broken.  Overall, we had a great stay and we'll come back again.  Front staff was also welcoming and very helpful.

The rooms were nice, the housekeeping staff was exceptionally good and friendly, and it's an excellent location just next to the Ala Moana mall.  Yes, it's a bit of a walk to Waikiki, but it's not unbearable.  The pool area could use some attention, and there's NO service for food or beverages offered poolside.

I really like this hotel. It is far enough from the chaos of Waikiki - but walking distance - and central for the restaurants and mall. Another great benefit is the car rental located inside the hotel for day trips or rentals for a couple of days. The people are all kind. The rooms are clean.

Location excellent for outer island residents with multiple medical visits to Queens/doctors, like us.  Starbucks on first floor excellent for fast breakfasts.  Ala Moana Mall excellent for other meals, either there or takeout for sitting on your hotel balcony.
Ala Moana rooms, as always, have needed renovation for many years.  Bathroom door bottom rotting out.  Old/dated furnishings.  Hideous/weird pictures on walls identical to all other rooms.  Housekeeping good, but they never clean the lanai/balcony tables - my wife always cleans them after we arrive.  Finally, we've stayed there probably at least two dozen times, and never get any benefits from their loyalty program.
All that said, we'll be back as we do NOT want to stay and pay for a Waikiki hotel room!!  We just wish the Ala Mona Hotel would get better.

Hotel was perfectly located for us with relation to the Honolulu Marathon start line and Ala Moana Shopping Center. Waikiki Beach was just a 20 minute walk away.

Our suite truly delivered on its promise of an ocean view and we enjoyed many cups of coffee out on our balcony taking it all in. We did notice that the room seemed a little dated, but understand a refurbishment is planned for 2025.

When we return to Honolulu we definitely plan on booking this hotel again!

Personalgatan Ala moana Hotel var en 5 , mitt rum i Kona tower var en 3 . 
Hade s litet problem med tv:n och underhållet kom och fixade det. Han var effektiv, artig och älskvärd. Han blev verkligen förvånad när vi tipsade honom. 
När vi checkade in fanns det s rad upp i lobbyn för Signatur biff House happy Hour. Det börjar 4 : 30 på 36:e våningen 
Andra våningen i Kona tornet har en bro som går till Macys entré och in i Ala moana Shopping Center . Vi åt på tge Lihaliha Bakery i Macy’s. 
Träet i badrummet var flisat. . De små reparationer runt VVS, hade luckor och var inte bra gjort. 
Hotellet verkade för dyrt för skicket. De gav en nedre våningen rum, som vi hade begärt.

Bodde i 2 nätter på 11: e våningen. Rummet var modern och mycket ren, duschar var stor, sängen var bekväm, snabbaste hissar någonsin red in, trevligt gym med nya maskiner och en trevlig Cybex krets. Poolområdet var mycket trevligt men inte använda poolen. 2 minuters promenad från 2: a våningen in i ENORMA köpcentrum med flera restaurangval. Kort promenad till vacker park och mycket lugn varm vik för bad. 
Personalen var mycket vänlig och hjälpsam och tillmötesgående till våra rum önskemål. 

Läste några ogynnsamma recensioner och upplevde inte något av det. Kanske har de renoverat lite.

Rum trött. Fläckar på mattan. Inga koppar för te. Inget bestick. Ingen mjölk i kylen. Kuddar så gamla och klumpiga skulle inte låta ett djur sova på dem Balkong med utsikt över ett hotell med '' Ladies of the night '' hålla sig upptagen. Kackerlackor i badrummet när jag tände på ljuset. Laddade för frukost när vi senare fann att det var en del av ska jag fortsätta? Skulle aldrig stanna där igen.

När jag reserverade på detta hotell var det för platsen men tillbaka kommer jag stanna där igen. Riktigt bra läge, service, utsikt etc.

Om du gillar att shoppa är det här platsen för dig! Shopping, restauranger och underhållning ligger alla inom gångavstånd.

Jag kom för en konvention här och det är Hawaii (hej - vem vill stanna inomhus?!) - så utseendet på rummet var inte riktigt en prioritet. Det var tillräckligt rent så hushållsarbetarna gjorde sitt jobb. Men förutom att allt var bara snällt. . . meh. Receptionen verkade woefully underbemannade, caféet var alldeles för dyrt för vad du fick (särskilt den frukostbuffén - min gud), och överallt gick vi på ön människor verkade så mycket mer vänliga och tillgängliga. Poolområdet var typ av ledsen (handduk killen var mycket vänlig) och restaurangen hade trevlig utsikt och effektiv personal. Men igen - något tycktes bara saknas. Någon grad av charm som resten av ön hade i spader men denna plats bara. . . gjorde det inte. Också - lite promenad till stranden. Använd bekväma skor.

Jag var här tidigare i vår (hela april månad) och jag blev behandlad bra. Mitt rum städades dagligen, allt gick alltid snyggt. Inga fel eller andra problem att oroa sig för. Jag älskade min åsikt och jag var glad att komma tillbaka hit. Jag har samma tjänst den här gången. Älskar denna plats.

Detta hotell har enkel tillgång till Ala Moana köpcentrum - gångavstånd för att gå in och ut på din fritid - inga bussresor - det var därför jag bestämde mig för att stanna där på mina många resor från Australien - pool på nivå 3 över trafik - rum rena och fantastisk utsikt - stora rymliga rum - rekommenderar grundligt

Hotellet är gammal, Waikiki tornet är anständigt, resten är mycket genomsnittliga. Kona tornet är fruktansvärda rummen är mycket små (du kan inte ens passa en resväska), de är också mycket mörk och jolleseglare.

Tony från receptionen behöver en kampanj han gjorde vår vistelse exceptionella och tittade efter mig och min fru, om det inte var för honom skulle vi inte stannade och försökte få återbetalas.

Vi besökte The Signature restaurang i går kväll - det var utmärkt.
Anlände under Happy Hour (resultat!) Bartendern var vänlig och tydligt älskade sitt jobb - gick sedan på att äta - vår server Danny (hoppas jag kom ihåg rätt) var mycket professionell - uppmärksam men inte öppet. Maten var utmärkt jag hade lax min man och vän älskade sina biffar. Allt som allt en mycket trevlig kväll förstärkt av en bra restaurang, utmärkta servrar och från 36: e våningen en fantastisk nattlig utsikt över Honolulu. . . rekommenderar grundligt. . .

Vi hade en mycket komfortabel vistelse på detta hotell! Personalen var underbar, och bekvämligheter i och runt i byggnaden var enastående! Skulle definitivt bo där igen!

Så nära till allt som Ala Moana Mall och Walmart. Gångavstånd till Ala Moana Park ligger bara 15 minuter. Flygplats ligger 20 minuter bort.
Rummet är rent och rymligt. Massor av parkering. Kommer definitivt att bo där på vårt nästa besök.

Vi bodde nyligen här under en företagskonferens från 4 / 20 - 4 / 29 , och älskade läget. Detta hotell ligger nära, men inte i det kaos av Waikiki beach. Vi kunde lätt komma till the touristy resmålen Waikiki beach med gångavstånd, men det finns även busshållplatser närheten. Detta hotell är också intill Ala Moana center för shopping och mat. Ett par relativt lugnt stränder inom en kort promenad, och det är nära Magic Island och lagunen. På hotellet finns olika bekvämligheter som en massage parlour, Starbucks, presentbutiker och restauranger. Den enda nackdelen med vår vistelse var att vi sparade pengar genom att stanna i Kona torn som använder sin egen på baksidan av hotellet som är skilda hissar från Waikiki Tower. Få tillbaka och tillbaka till poolen, fitnesscenter, och restauranger var lite av en smärta som vi hade kunnat undvika om vi hade betalat pengarna stannar i det andra tornet. Vidare blir vi var på sidan av Kona Torn med utsikt över konstruktion. om detta projekt kommer att bli av någon höjd, bergsutsikten från baksidan av Kona Tower kommer att bli borta. Om en se är viktigt att du, sedan boka noggrant. Men om du letar efter alternativ för prissättning nära amenities, this hotel är fantastisk.
