Well I just moved here, and it's no wonder Honolulu is one of the most sought after places to live! This beach has a 360° absolutely gorgeous view; Even looking inland from the beach was picturesque! This particular section, I was told, is called Magic Island and has a man-made cove to stop the waves making it safe for younger children to play, paddle boarding, even water polo (nets not included), etc.
There are a lot of different things going on here and a variety of amenities for tourists and locals! Every Wednesday evening a church passes out food to the homeless. The tour guide bus is not too far away. There are basketball courts, beach volleyball, tennis courts that are lit up at night and bathrooms and washing stations are available. You can also get a good workout in, walk your animals, get a bite to eat at the many food trucks, and many other activities that I can't wait to partake in! I highly recommend!

You can walk along the beach and the park. The view was gorgeous. There are many people relaxing in the evening. The park offers great walking/running paths. It has many big trees offering shades along the paths. There are many homeless staying in the park as well.

A wonderful place for watching people, cultural events, team sports, athletes, nature, Honolulu skyline, sunsets. If you want to leave right after sunset, you will encounter gridlock traffic unless you park near the exit. Otherwise I'd advise walking over to the large Ala Moana shopping center across the street for an hour or two

We have enjoyed many days and sunsets along this beach!! It was by far our favorite of all the beaches we explored on Oahu! It's peaceful and the water was calm enough to take our little one swimming! She loves the ocean!!!

The Sand here and The shoreline kind of sucks Lots of rocks and Underwater it’s lots of Large rocks and rough rocks to. Not sure if i like it but its somewhere to swim if waikiki is to packed
