This coffee shop is an absolute gem! We stopped by for breakfast and coffee, and both were exceptional. The food is nothing short of scrumptious—every bite was a treat. As for the coffee, it boasts a fantastic flavor that left us savoring every sip.

Be prepared to wait in line, though—it’s a busy spot, and understandably so given the quality of the experience. Despite the rush, the servers are friendly, helpful, and manage to keep things running smoothly.

The cozy atmosphere and delicious offerings make it well worth the wait. After eating there just once, I had no desire to look for another breakfast spot—this place checks all the boxes. Highly recommended!

One of the best meals I’ve had in Hawaii! I got an açaí bowl that was so fresh and loaded with toppings. It was just what I needed to cook down on a hot day! I also tried some of my friend’s peanut butter mango sandwich and it was such a unique but delicious combination so I’d definitely recommend that as well!

I assumed I’d get a good smoothie bowl in Hawaii and upon googling it this venue was highly rated. The line was lengthy for a table and while it was enjoyable it was also pretty standard. I actually preferred my husbands chicken sandwich which was very flavourful and the accompanying chips were delicious

This place is the best! We ate here 5 out of 10 days on the island and it would have been more if we came sooner. The staff is polite and tentative and they are most importantly Consistent!!! We had the Island latte every morning. If you want to skip the long line you can mobile order drinks and Acai bowls online (highly recommend) everything we had here was amazing, not one bad meal or experience. If you don't want to wait at the restaurant make a reservation on the “Open Table” app. We made a reservation for 7 people at 7:15 pm at 4 ish the same day. They get busy but always remained professional and personal. By far my favorite restaurant on the Island!!!

Excellent place to get food as they have a huge variety available and by ordering in person, they are able to customize to substitute for any allergy restrictions which you CANNOT do over online ordering.

Only thing is that this place can be very busy and you have to wait a long time to order and at times, hard to find a table to seat at.

If you don’t need any substitution, and dill prefer to just take out and eat elsewhere such as Waikiki beach, recommend that you order through Island Vintage Vine Bar which serves the same food but allows online order, cafe DOES NOT take food online or phone orders.

Acai here is alright but not what I prefer. It’s slightly creamy since they use a nondairy cream base while I prefer without such cream base so the acai taste clean and “pure”.

Island Vintage Coffee

Island Vintage Coffee was honestly one of my favorite places we ate at in Hawaii. Everything about this spot felt fresh, welcoming, and full of island charm. The food, the drinks, and even the atmosphere all came together to make it such a great experience, and anyone can find something they like here because the menu is EXTREMELY extensive. I suggest even looking at the menu before coming so you have a small idea of what you may want. I ordered the Lox of Bagel Sandwich ($18.95), and it was amazing. The salmon was super fresh and flavorful, the dill cream cheese had just the right amount of seasoning, and the veggies added a perfect crunch. It all came together so nicely and tasted incredibly fresh. I've had a lot of lox bagels over the years, but this one really stood out as one of the best. Even the salad on the side was great and so green! My husband ordered the Wagyu Beef Loco Moco ($26.95), and he thoroughly enjoyed it. It came with delicious garlic rice under the meat, and had eggs over easy to blanket the meat. I surprisingly didn't have any coffee here so I cannot review that, but they do have a bunch of fun specialty drinks that all sound great, like the Hawaiian Honey Latte and the Lava Mocha. It is definitely the kind of place where you could come back every day and try something new. The overall vibe of the restaurant was great. It has a relaxed island atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your meal. Even though it was busy when we visited, the service was fast and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood, and it really added to the positive energy of the place. We were able to sit right off the balcony looking down onto the Royal Hawaiian, and we loved where we sat even though it was extremely small and cramped. Almost the whole time we were able to watch the cutest dog with his owner. If you are looking for a breakfast or brunch spot in Hawaii that serves fresh, high-quality food, Island Vintage Coffee is definitely worth a visit. It was one of those places that left such a good impression that I know I will go back the next time we are in Hawaii.

I struggle to provide an actual review on this place because I feel they are put in an unfair position. I'll explain - they are a coffee shop in the middle of Waikiki amongst some of the busiest hotels so the staff I'm sure is strained to mass produce drink drinks at a very efficient rate with a likely never-ending line. So I can absolutely empathize that they are doing everything they can given just the sheer amount of demand. That being said, in my opinion, the coffee recipe at least for the Mac Nutt latte needs to change. It honestly just tasted like a cup of warm milk, I didn't even drink it after the first few steps. So again to be fair I didn't try any other drinks and given my first experience I didn't want to go back.

Visited this chain twice when I went to Hawaii! I would recommend getting smoothies here but not food. The smoothies were fresh and tasty. I especially loved the smoothie with lilikoi. The food was good but very overpriced in my opinion. The presentation of the food is lovely. Depending on the location, it may or may not be hard to find seating.

There seems to always be a line, but for good reason. There's lots of seating on the patio and inside as well. Just got the Island latte and if you're a fan of coconut you'll love this. Took a little time for my coffee, but they were pretty busy. Service was very friendly.

Really great coffee and açaí bowls in the heart of Waikiki. Lines can be long in the morning, so I'd recommend ordering for pick up for ease and it's the same quality. Cacao Moana Bowl - if you like PB and chocolate without too many tart fruits, this bowl is for you, def best balance of sweet sour and salty Vintage Kona Mocha - I'm not the biggest fan of blended coffee but this drink changed my opinion on that, can definitely taste all parts of Mac nut, coconut, and coffee, almost a dessert beverage but not too sweet and still has that caffeine kick you want

Drink: Hojicha Latte Price: ~ $9 Overall: Island Vintage Coffee is a chain in Hawaii so I decided to try it out. I came around late noon, a few hours before it closed so there wasn't a line. I have been on a Hojicha phase (hojicha is so underrated, let's keep it that way) so I chose that as a drink. They sell a variety of matcha latte packs and variety of souvenir/merch. $9 for a 20oz drink was a bit of a surprise but regardless, I like hojicha and the drink was good!

Great place for coffee and food in Waikiki. There area few locations in the island. Waikiki is very busy with a line. If you're ordering just drinks or something to go, I suggest going to the QR code at the door and ordering online. The service at the line is slow. Good coffee and açaí bowl.

The Island Vintage coffee has two sides, the right side has drinks and sit down seating but pick up yourself. The other side is sit down seating and they bring it to you. Depending on the cashier, some are so quick. Sometimes it takes a little longer. Coconut Kona mocha with whip is my go to.

One of the best açaí places I've been to the last few times I've been to Hawaii. The quality is always the same top notch amazingness that I can expect from this place. Line was quite long even at 7pm at night on a windy day so you can see how popular it is. We got the original açaí with papaya this coconut cream or ice cream and it was spectacular. Enjoyed every bite. We got the large and ate walking around as the place didn't have too many seating options with half the store setup to sell merchandise.

Line is long, as expected since it's Waikiki. Waited about 15-20 minutes in line to order, than another 10 minutes to get drinks Tried to opt for online pick up, but it wasn't available at the time unfortunately. Also, they were out of matcha! Ordered an island latte, and it tasted like coconut coffee. It's not a "hint of coconut", no macadamia nut taste. Also, ordered a Hawaiian Honey Latte, that was a lot better! Ambiance is nice.
