Perfect location, lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The ocean view is beautiful. Great service, staff is very friendly and hotel has many fun activities for all ages. We stayed 8 nights with breakfast or Lunch included at Duke’s. We like the breakfast, lunch didn’t have many options. We like to explore so we stayed at the hotel beach 3 days, very clean and convenient but a little bit crowed. Nice size room, clean and well kept with lots of storage. I recommend this hotel!

Truly 4.5 out of 5 - I would stay here again for sure.

If you want to be in the middle of all the action w/ direct access to Waikiki beach, and nightlife, this is an excellent place. If you want quiet to just hear the ocean w/ the door open, then this won't fit.😂

We had a wonderful time. Direct access to two restaurants, and the strip had loads of shopping from Rolex and Fendi to ABC convenience stores (every corner nearly) and local vendors. Oh and food and drink everywhere.

Our first room had some minor unfinished maintenance, but they quickly got us an equivalent room. We had an ocean view room, which had a great view, but if you want a completely unimpeded view of the ocean, then pick an ocean front room (for more $$ of course). The room itself was comfortable and nicely decorated, but not luxurious - definitely paying for the location and view, which again were great.  Hotel cleaning staff were very attentive and always asked if we needed anything when they saw us.

The concierge was excellent and coordinated all our tours wonderfully, and were very accommodating.

Front desk staff were very helpful, as were the valet.

The only downside was maintenance, and minor construction happened to be occurring during the day at the hotel next door, so leaving the door open for the ocean breeze during the day would sometimes be too noisy. We arrived the night of 1/5 and left early 1/11/2025.

Love the balcony view. Lots of shopping. The ocean is beautiful. The elevator system can take a long time even with 3 elevators. The rooms are good size and contain lots of storage space. Could use a coffee table in front of the couch.
The restaurants have good food. We had food vouchers for one meal a day. Well worth it.

I didn’t stay here, but I did go to the their restaurant MonkeyPod Kitchen and it is excellent.  It has an amazing view of the beach right from your table. The food & drinks are very good, but you can’t beat the view! The lobby is beautiful with shops and another restaurant upfront that has live entertainment in the evenings and afternoons.

Great overall hotel with a few cons and many pros:
Pros:
- amazing location, right on the beach and in the middle of the popular tourist street, with lots of shops and restaurants all with 5 minutes walking.
- good clean facilities, towel service for beach/pool use.
- great breakfast options (we had breakfast included in our stay). Dukes has buffet and hula has good dishes.
- has veggie food options
- has valet parking (sounds expensive but considering multiple in-out available and cost cheaper or equal to other options around)
- rooms are good sized, family of 4 could sleep and stay in comfort.

Cons:
- not a lot of hotel amenities like hot tub, though we did not miss it due to beach on our footsteps

This is a little store on the beach side of the lobby of the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach owned by some Taiwanese people. They make really yummy fresh fruit shakes. Try the papaya milkshake. It's typically Taiwanese and they do it well. I also like their sandwiches, especially the veggie sandwich.
