It’s a great teppanyaki eatery. The dinner was delicious, and everything was well-cooked as we requested. The presentation was interesting and very entertaining for children.

Kyle was the best chef I’ve had. I’m local and been living here 6 years, been to Tanaka so many times and I hope to get him again. Enzo was also a great server! They both work well together.

It’s our 22nd wedding anniversary and we decided to visit this place. We been to Hawaii thousand of times, but we haven’t had a chance to visit and dine at Tanaka ! Wow , we enjoyed it! The lightning is perfect , romantic lightning, service was great, chef was funny, food was great … and we got an ice cream with a candle because it’s our anniversary! We travelled a lot and been to teppanyaki often but Tanaka of Tokyo is a winner!

We shared a table with a couple from down under. (Australia) It was a fun time. Our chef Austin was quite the character.  The food was prepared  perfectly  and very flavorful.  The staff was attentive  and the manager gave us a free desert. A truly  fun night!

The food was good. The atmosphere of the whole restaurant was great, filled with laughter, and patrons having a great time! The staff were very welcoming, friendly and very professional. They paid such great attention to their tables. Filling up the waters, making sure the food and service was great. A little plus side is, on my reservation I put celebrating an anniversary and they honored that with a singing ceremony and an announcement of our anniversary. My partner and I had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary there!
