The Sunrise Shack in Waikiki is such a cute little spot located in Outrigger hotel. We tried the smoothies, smoothie bowls, avocado toast, and banana peanut butter toast, everything was super tasty and fresh. It’s the perfect place to grab something healthy and delicious. Just be aware that there isn’t much space to sit indoors. Grab your stuff and sit on the beach to enjoy!

We stopped here for a quick breakfast to start our day. We each ordered their smoothie bowl; I believe it was pineapple. The size portion was decent and very filling. It did have a lot of granola in it more so than fruit. It was a place to get a quick bite today.

The açaí bowls here were extremely tasty. It was fresh and full of flavors. And entirely gluten-free. !!!!

I highly recommend the smaller portion if you’re planning on eating it by yourself. Because the larger portion is entirely too much for just one person. Unless you are one with a big appetite.

Overall, I feel the price is a little high. It was still worth it because of the quality of the food.

We had the monkey toast, papaya bowl and a bullet coffee. Everything was yummy, healthy and fresh, with a nice presentation. I'm also not much of a coffee person but the bullet coffee was really interesting, even without any sugar or other sweetener.

I came here after I tried the sunrise shack on the north shore. I had been thinking about the POG bowl for days and just had to have another. I was so excited when I saw they had another location in Waikiki. This was the second best bowl I had while visiting Hawaii but it was definitely not as good as the one in the north shore. I think it’s because they didn’t put the pitaya sauce on the top..disappointing. But overall still probably the best kind of bowl to get, I definitely recommend!
