We really liked how everything was set up and well displayed. Most everyone we saw there understood where they were and respectful, and you never felt too crowded. But we also went in the middle of the week.

We really enjoyed all the little museums they had there and displays where you can read up on the he history of Pearl harbor. It's worth your time to go through all the little museums and displays as you'll learn things about World War II that you never knew about.

Our main goal had been to visit the Arizona, which has been on our bucket list forever. We really enjoyed it. But even with the large amount of people everyone was quiet and respectful.
I think they're doing a great job there reminding everybody as to what happened in the past. Because in another generation or so nobody will have any real ties to it anymore.

Such an impactful place to visit. If you know your American history than you know. Paying respect to those that lost their lives there. Not going to lie that it was a bit emotional, especially when visiting the USS Arizona and knowing that several people that died are still there. Definitely make reservations and be on it because you have to reserve a time slot. Gets busy so choose early.

Powerful and educational experience visiting the memorial. We took the boat out to the USS Arizona memorial which was also extremely worth it, just had to make sure to reserve a time ahead. The shuttle bus that goes out to the island too was very convenient. Around the memorial there are of course areas that are free and others like the submarine museum etc that are separate tickets but it was all extremely well done.

Definitely am interesting as well as sobering experience.  First time seeing/being at Pearl Harbor.  We learn about it from school and history shows/books but there is a surreal feeling to actually taking that boat to the memorial over the USS Arizona and knowing so many servicemen are entombed there, just below.  Definitely recommend getting the tickets to go on the submarine.  So much history and it's a real peek back in time.
