We stayed for Thanksgiving week.  We love the location since it's so close to everything.  Everything was walking distance.  The guy at the front desk was a bit rude.  It was hard for us to ask questions.  He gave us a room w/an okay view after we asked for an ocean front view.  Here's my thoughts...

-Lobby had a weird scent (They should some refreshing scent while you enter the lobby.  It would be more welcoming.)
-Housekeeping was okay.  It would be great if they were on it.
-Parking is very expensive even if you are a guest
-Food was okay.  I would definitely eat out.

The hotel has an outstanding location, right on the beach, in the centre of Waikiki. Outside a few swimming pools with a few jacuzzi pools as well. Inside no time to wait for the elevators to come. There are twelve I think in total. Very clean and quiet.
The beach is very clean, quiet, safe, it’s Hawaii right?! I really enjoyed staying there, close to all available stores in Waikiki. I recommend this hotel 100%. 👍👍👍

The location of this hotel was amazing. It's right in the middle of everything. Most of not everything you'd want is easily within walking distance. The cleaning staff is very friendly and always made sure we were comfortable. The Korean woman who did my section of the hotel was amazing. She always had a smile on her face and greeted us warmly on top of making sure we had everything we needed. Overall it was a fabulous stay. Could not recommend it enough.

“Sheraton Waikiki: A Stunning Escape with Views for Days”

Our stay at the Sheraton Waikiki was nothing short of amazing! Even though we booked a room with a partial sea view, the breathtaking scenery from the balcony still left us in awe. But the real star of the resort is the infinity pool—its edge seems to blend seamlessly with the ocean, creating a perfect spot to relax and soak in the view.

Despite being a massive resort with nearly 1,600 rooms, it never felt overcrowded. The elevators were fast and efficient, so we never had to wait long, even during busy times. However, the only real downside was the limited number of chairs with umbrellas by the pool. To snag one, you have to line up early—the pool opens at 8 a.m., and if you want some shade, you’ll need to beat the rush.

On the bright side, the infinity pool is adults-only, which kept it peaceful and serene. There’s also a Jacuzzi over by the children’s pool, but it didn’t look too appealing—some guests were even going in with their flip-flops on.

Overall, Sheraton Waikiki delivers an incredible experience, with top-notch views and plenty of space to unwind. Just be prepared to hustle for a shaded chair!

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Waikīkī for a month, expecting top-tier service and a memorable experience, especially given the amount of money spent. The location is fantastic, and the hotel facilities are beautiful. The valet and bell staff were wonderful – friendly, helpful, and highly professional. Unfortunately, that was the only highlight of my stay.

Despite being a long-term guest, almost every other interaction with the hotel staff was disappointing. I was questioned about my service animal nearly every other day, which made me feel unwelcome and scrutinized. Rather than treating me with respect, some staff seemed intent on finding excuses to make us leave, even inventing stories to justify it. This was not the level of hospitality I expected from a hotel with such a reputation.

For a place that charges premium rates, I anticipated a respectful, professional experience. Sadly, the treatment I received left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I’ll never return here, and I’ll advise anyone I know to avoid this hotel. The experience with most of the staff completely overshadowed the positives and ruined what could have been an enjoyable extended stay.
