They were at Pearlridge's night market recently but since we were already full from dinner didn't get to try their poke or onigiris. It really look yummy but my stomach was on the brink of exploding from dinner. If I'm in the area, I will stop by and stop by today I did. My eyes was definitely bigger than my stomach. Picked up fish patties, fish katsu, pound of limu poke, ginger onigiri, fish patty musubi, inari, and poke yaki onigiri. Took a big bite into the fish patty musubi and it was good!!! Then dig into the poke yaki onigiri. It was still crispy/crunchy on the outside. I love yaki onigiri. Took a small bit of the poke, and again just hitting all hungry spots away. Definitely a place I need to come back again. I was second in line but it slowly forming and growing while I was waiting. Didn't realize they have online ordering, will be doing that for next time.

Who doesn't love a hidden gem? Ali'i Fish Market is tucked away between Young and King streets... just a doorway down a drive.. a few steps down and you find yourself in this quaint fast casual poke parlor! The poke is next level... unique spins on familiar classics.. like the Spicy Hawaiian, which melds ahi, limu and fresno chiles for an amazing bite. Don't miss the Spicy Lomi Ahi... my personal favorite! Take heed... poke is not the ONLY thing on the menu here. High quality onigiri.... especially the spicy tuna which spends a lovely few minutes on a griddle to deliver crispy rice exterior with a sweet kobayashi sauce. Lomi tomatoes make an excellent vegan side dish and the ahi fish cakes are another winner! Service is delightful..making great sugguestion and offering samples for the undecided. Best poke on the island? Could be. A don't miss poke spot? Absolutely.

ONCE AGAIN THIS PLACE IS AWESOME !!! I ordered the Monchong cooked Chinese style, ahi limu poke, maki sushi and the inari sushi. LOVED IT ALL. Monchong was fresh as well as the poke. The Mac salad was more than a regular Mac salad. Well balanced seasoning with a touch of heat. Not overburdened with mayonnaise. If you're wanting to get high-quality food but don't want to go to an expensive restaurant then check this place out.

The lomi spicy ahi and ginger ahi are my go-tos here, and they never miss. The poke is always super fresh and flavorful, which easily makes this one of my top poke spots on the island. I usually order by the pound since the poke bowls don't feel as worth it to me. The only downside is they close pretty early and sometimes run out of the spicy and ginger ahi.

This has to be one of the best poke bowl I've had. Lomi tuna hits different, I've never tried this type of poke before , you have to get it with sushi rice. Workers here are very knowledgeable and friendly, if it's your first time. They will explain the difference between other poke places. And the menu too. Very nicely restaurant on the inside too. All type of different foods. A must try!!

*The* hole-in-the-wall of hole-in-the-wall gems. The most delicious and freshest poke we've yet found in Honolulu. Favorites are the spicy lomi ahi, spicy yuzu salmon, and ginger ahi.

This unassuming little fish market, with its small nearby parking lot, truly blew me away! I've tried a few other local fish markets like Fresh Catch and Ono, which are good, but the Ahi Chicharrone Poke here was exceptional. It was perfectly seasoned, made with incredibly fresh tuna that was neither tough nor stringy, and not overly salty. The added crunch from the chicharrone made it a unique and delightful experience. I especially appreciated that it came with a bowl of seasoned sushi rice instead of plain rice--a nice touch! We opted to have our poke "crowned" with a side of short rib. It had a deep, smoky flavor, and while there were only three small chunks, they were quite meaty. My only minor critique is that it was a bit dry and would have benefited from some kind of sauce. I LOVED how crunchy the spicy tuna onigiri was. The hijiki seaweed had a unique floral taste (kids did not like). They also resell jams from a former culinary school instructor. These small jars go for $8, which felt a bit pricey. I tried the strawberry guava, which was tart and flavorful--definitely my favorite of the two. The mango was fine, but both are jellies, meaning they have a very smooth, "smooshy" texture, which I personally don't prefer over a chunkier jam. Despite minor points on the short rib and jams, this spot has quickly become one of my top places for poke. There's a line around noon on weekdays, which moves pretty quickly, but I can only imagine the queue on a weekend. I can't wait to come back!

Exterior: has a bench available for seating Wait time: 5 mins Parking: small lot and street Overall comments: The spicy lomi ahi is so Ono, gives hints of sweetness n' the overall texture is perfectly pleasing. The spicy creamy garlic ahi is very flavorful n' has crunch from the raw onions. Current poke pricing on 06.29.2025 was $7 for 1/2 lb. The yaki onigiris are a must try. We initially only got the spicy poke flav then immediately went back n' got the ginger poke n' spam & egg too. The crunchy rice exterior texture is everything! Let's just say we inhaled it all n' I already want more of their poke n' yaki onigiris!
