Tried to get in a last minute Whale watching trip before we left Hawaii the next day but everything basically sold out online so I looked up a few places and called these guys. They were also sold out but offered a private charter for up to six people for a Sunset cruise that they would turn into a whale watch cruise so I nabbbed it. Went with a couple of friends, way better than going with a crowd of people. Brought some booze and poke with us. Met the captain and his mate at the dock and basically asked what we wanted to do. So he recommended a nice snorkeling spot and then we would cruise around looking for dolphins and whales. The snorkeling spot was great, near Diamond head, Tons of fish and bunch of sea turtles, got some great pics. Then off to see a few dolphins u distant no whales today. The two man crew were really great and accommodating. The boat was nice and the ride was surprisingly smooth, we all thought it was going to be bumpy but no issues and a great sunset to boot!

Sam and Ella made my wife and me feel at home on their boat. With just one other couple, it was the perfect small group--comfortable, not crowded. Highly recommend for an easy, great time!

Hands down the BEST private charter in Oahu! I've used Hawaii Ocean Charters multiple times, and they never disappoint. Our recent 6-hour Sunday cruise was absolute perfection. Francesco and Nick, the dynamic duo, know these waters like the back of their hands. Their 30-foot power catamaran "Keanuenue" is well-maintained, comfortable, and the perfect size for intimate groups (we had 5 people). What we love about these guys: They're incredibly knowledgeable about Hawaiian marine life and share fascinating insights throughout the trip The experience is completely customizable - they'll take you to the best spots based on conditions and your preferences They provide all the essentials: snorkel gear, floaties, a cooler for your drinks (it's BYOB!) Their Bluetooth sound system lets you set the vibe with your own playlist They genuinely care about giving you an amazing experience During our charter, we departed from Ala Moana and visited multiple spots where we snorkeled, swam, and just relaxed on floaties. Wildlife sightings included dolphins, sea turtles, a whale, and even a tiny octopus! The day ended with a breathtaking sunset cruise back to the harbor. If you're debating whether to book with them, just do it! It's worth every penny for this level of service and the memories you'll make. These guys were born to be on the ocean, and it shows in every aspect of their operation.

We had an excellent morning snorkel and saw tons of fish and several turtles. The boat was really lovely and comfortable and the guides were 10's. Highly recommend the 7:15 tour.

My must for anyone visiting Maui! I went with my husband a few years ago and I have never seen so many turtles in my entire life!!! They were unfortunately affected by the fires a few years ago for a bit (and I donated to their recovery fund) and I'm so happy they're back. Truly the loveliest and I promise you won't regret it!
