Stumbled in, but it was an amazing find. One of us had a cheeseburger, sub red onion and mayo fit grilled onions and aioli. Tasted super fresh. They didn't ask how you want it prepared because they knew what they were doing--juicy, grilled perfectly. Fresh veggies. Delicious tots! Enough to split. The other had Paniolo Burger sub beyond patties. BBQ sauce was so tasty. Best burgers in Hawaii so far. ...almost Forgot to mention the friendly , unpretentious service.

Was super disappointed with our dinner tonight. Wife and I both got the Teri-Kim Burgers and my son got the Pāniolo. I wanted to have their burgers because I was at the UH game a few weeks ago and I had the Paniolo and I thought it was one of the best I've had. Along with our burgers, we got an order of onion rings and fries. All 3 burgers were overcooked and dry. Kim Chee lacked any flavor. The fries were soggy, as if the oil was not hot enough. The order of onion rings came out with maybe 3 large ones and 3 tiny ones and were not as soggy as the fries but the onion inside seemed undercooked. Super bummed because I love to support local. Weird that a pop up at the UH game would have better quality food than their brick and mortar.

Made an advance phone order, nothing big, just 3 standard burgers. It was my first time so I wanted to try this place out. Unfortunately when I got there my order wasn't ready even though it was placed an hour in advance, no biggie, I could wait a bit, but noticed 3 pickup orders who came in after me got their meals first. 2 others who were dining in also got their orders before me. Keep in mind I only ordered 3 burgers and to make matters worse, my hungry 2 year old was with me. She said "hungry" after waiting 30 mins to which I asked the cashier what the status was and needed to cancel if it wasn't ready. The cashier then checked and brought my food out within seconds - meaning, it was sitting there for a while. No apologies from her. As for the burger itself, I cannot tell you if it was good but can tell you the result of one sitting out. The meat was cold, fat congealed, bun soggy and lettuce wilted. Too bad as I really appreciate businesses who offer grassfed beef but the service simply isn't worth it.

I did a search on "best loco moco near me" and this place popped up. I was a little surprised, as I wouldn't typically associate loco moco with a burger place, but after reading the reviews on the loco moco, it sounded promising. I had read that they use 100% local range grass beef, and I like my gravy dark, so the photo looked like it checked all the boxes. I called my order in for pick up, and it was ready in 10-15 min by the time I arrived. They're located in Kaimuki off of Waialae Ave. where many other restaurants are. I parked right in the front at the metered parking, but they have a large public parking lot in the back as well. When I walked in, there were a bunch of guys seated at the bar. Apparently they must have a good happy hour! There were also several patrons sitting at the tables. It was busier than I expected it to be. The loco moco cost $14.50 plus tax, which is a reasonable price. They asked how I want my eggs, and I said sunny side up. I was disappointed to find that they made it over easy. The beef patty was not as tasty as I had expected it to be. There really wasn't much flavor to it. The only good thing was the dark gravy. Even the potato salad was just average.

If you like loud country music and overpriced burgers that take 20 minutes this is the place for you. They don't ask how you want your burgers cooked and as a result they were all gray on the inside. Well done and dry. The worst part is that they are literally 2/3 the size of the bun. What put the kitty over the top was we had to wait 40 min for a burger because they "made a mistake" in one of our burgers. Instead of asking us if we wanted the mistake the guy gave it away to a party that came in after us. You're better off waiting in the line at Chubbies. Or going to any where else in the shopping center. Never going back again.

Food: 5/5. I don't even eat burgers like that, but I might've found my new burger spot. Locally owned, and other food items besides burgers that I definitely need to try. Service: 5/5. Immediately greeted by the owner and bartender/server (Kia&Lana). Full bar as well! Food came out quick, (ordered the combo) while bartender made sure I wasn't bored. Ambiance: 5/5. Super clean, great music, and even hold live events on select days! Highly recommend for the vibes

Came in on a weekday afternoon and it wasn't busy. Tried the blue Hawaii burger with blue cheese, made it a combo with fries & a soft drink (unsweetened iced tea was 75 cents extra). It wasn't bad but it also wasn't spectacular. Seemed a little bit on the expensive side to me. I wouldn't recommend this place but also would not complain if everyone else wanted to come here.

Honolulu Burger Co did not disappoint. This Puka in da wall offers an amazing family friendly, local vibe. They had all the football games playing making it a haven for sports fanatics. But that's not even the best part. Their burgers were amazing. Juicy patties, fresh cut vegetables, a ton of options to fill any craving. I will happily drive here to avoid the crowds of town and for the consistent good food. Burgers are cooked fresh, fries are served hot and drinks are cold and refreshing. This is a local spot that brings the ALOHA. Owned by a local wahine and ran by an excellent staff. The owner is in the trenches with her team and it shows in the quality and cleanliness of the restaurant.

Lol! Why have I not written about this place before since they've been at the Beretania location like forever and now they are in our Kaimuki hood. Came in for a chill Thursday night for just some awesome burgers that's like homemade without the grease and mess. We were greeted by a sweet server who asked if we were eating in or take out and very attentive. Of course, since it was our first time at this location we sat in this casual vibe with cool music and three tv options. Our orders included a classic single burger, the loco moco burger and the mushroom burger with coke and onion rings to accompany. You have a choice of buns from brioche, taro or wheat and it's served with lettuce and tomato. It was cooked just right and a decent size. Price point is great! I love that they are unique without being over the top. Love that the burgers are not slathered with so much stuff that you miss the burger all together. It's is the star and it's just right to fill your opu (stomach).... We went away truly satisfied and I'm marking this as one of our family favorite joints... By the way- the reviews on "misunderstood delivery orders"-just come back and give them another chance. I wouldn't want this place to leave because they made one error- have Grace or just eat in so they'll get it right. Support local guys!!!
