Our visit to 1 Hotel was absolutely amazing. The location alone is breathtaking, with stunning views of Hanalei Bay and lush green mountains in the background. Sitting by the infinity pool, enjoying shave ice while taking in the scenery, was one of the most relaxing moments of our trip. The beach access made it easy to enjoy the ocean, and the overall atmosphere was serene and luxurious.

The rooms were beautifully designed, with incredible attention to detail. Everything felt high-end yet comfortable, from the furnishings to the spacious bathrooms with rainfall showers. It was clear that a lot of thought went into creating a calming and elegant space.

Our kids had a blast in the game room, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring the island. The staff was exceptionally polite and always ready to help, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The 1 was great! We loved our experience.

Drinks were great, food was high quality (especially liked breakfast), and locations was perfect.

Felt like a good blend of enough energy, but never overly crowded. Really nice.

Also appreciated the service throughout, everyone was very kind. Shout out to Anthony who checked us in and out - kind and helpful! Also shoutout to Humberto - thanks for being kind.

We visited 1 Hotel during the 2025 New Year holiday and were thoroughly impressed. The hotel’s clean, elegant design, with its white, green, and natural wood tones, creates a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The various Christmas tree designs were truly unique, and my child especially enjoyed the swing chair at the entrance and the playroom with board games and ping-pong.

The staff were attentive and professional, reflecting excellent management and attention to detail. We also enjoyed some delicious, natural shaved ice by the poolside. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous property! Went here for our baby moon over the New Year break and loved it. The room had an amazing view! When we walked in there was a cute welcome note and a delicious banana macadamia nut bread. The bed was so comfy and loved the rain shower.
During our visit there was so many scattered showers (rain) we didn’t get a chance to go into the beach. However, we did enjoy the infinity adult pool and hot tub when there was a couple hours of no rain. The view from pool is breathtaking and we saw a few rainbows.
The food there was delicious too. I won’t list everything we ate/ tried but the brunch buffet, burger (down by the pool area), and pasta dishes for dinner were tasty.
I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I had an incredible time here for our honeymoon. The property and staff were the best all around!

Two negatives stood out however. First, the drip line of the shower curtain hung outside of the beveled shower floor causing the rest of the bathroom to fill with water. A seemingly endless supply of towels were used to help contain the water toward the shower, to no avail. Not the worst but definitely not what one would expect at this caliber of hotel.

Second, while reviewing our bill at checkout we found a ~$580 charge for a “Crystal Experience” at the spa. I’m not sure what exactly a crystal experience is but anyone willing to pay that much for one certainly needs all of the help they can get. Fortunately they did end up removing the charge after we told them we didn’t have any experiences like this during our stay let alone book any spa appointments.

Despite these things we are excited to come back! Just be sure to check your bill before you checkout.
