I want to take a moment to commend Alaska Airlines for the exceptional customer service we received during our trip from Boston to Honolulu. The flight from Boston to San Diego was delayed due to A/C issues. The delay caused us to miss the connecting flight to Honolulu. The customer service representative I called was totally professional, and after researching options, we determined the best choice was to depart from LAX the next morning on a direct flight to Honolulu. We were told to hire an Uber for the 2-1/2 hour ride to LA. We stayed at a hotel near the airport (with free shuttle service), and returned to Honolulu the next morning. I was fully reimbursed (nearly $500) for the Uber, hotel and meals within 7 days via direct deposit to my debit card. The entire experience, although difficult at first, was expertly handled by Alaska Airlines and I am extremely satisfied with the experience!

So I have Hawaiian Airline account and Alaska's Airlines account. I was very disappointed with my serve as my issue took over a week to be solved and I'm not sure if it is but I got good vibes from my last encounter. Sorry the misspelling and grammar. Alaska air 1. First attempt called and talked to Tanuj T. Customer Care Representative. I was calling to see why I had 2 accounts and why my points didn't transfer over. I was told that someone hacked my Alaska airline account and tried to take 65,000 miles from me back on June 28,2025. I was told it was stopped. I was told to send a PIN number and picture of my photo ID. I was having trouble so I gave my secondary email. I got the email and sent my pin and ID. I ended the call. I got an email asking me I don't understand what you have send. I explained on my email that you requested this. I emailed a few days later seeing where my progress has been. I got no reply. I emailed a few more times and nothing. 2. Second attempt about 5 days later I called and talked to Karen C Customer Care Representative I explained what I did in the first email. I was asking what my process was. She looked into it and said that my email name doesn't match my real name. So I went in and changed it. She seems to be trying to get as much off the phone like she was in a rush. She sent me an email and I sent the pin and ID again. She said that she will take care of it. I have emailed her a few more times to check progress but nothing happened. 3. I found that I could text so I texted and got Ticka - I was told to provide my name. I did. I verified my date of birth and address. Then I get a message saying my chat has ended to contact by phone to have the changes made. 4. Finally I got Hi, Juliet in Atmos Rewards. She was so helpful I'm glad I got in touch with her. She went though the steps to variety who I am. She said she found my second account and provided me my number. She then told me to go and create a new account with that number. She sent me the link to do it. I did it. She went back to the notes on my account and setup my pin and ID. She fixed all of the problems. She credited back my 65,000 points that was stolen. I was able to log into the new account and see my miles and keep my status. She gave me explanation on how the Alaska's airline points work. She was so helpful. I don't know how come the rest of your staff can't be like her. You need more workers like her. Give her a raise and a promotion.

My mother and I had to do an emergency trip to visit my Tia (my mother's sister) whom isn't doing well at a hospice home and my experience with this Airline was HORRIBLE. Our flight was delayed I was notified by another passenger that was on the same flight with us and our flight was supposed to fly out @11:30 didn't happen then it was 12:30 also didn't happen then it was 5am also didn't happen. Whole time worker's were not communicating with us on what was happening. We were trying to be there to spend as much time as possible with our loved one and it was cut short only giving us an hour due to visiting hours. Heading back home was a NIGHTMARE as well. Yes this airline has CHEAP airfare but it isn't worth it! I'll NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINE AGAIN! STICKING TO SOUTHWEST

Traveling to the Continental USA from Honolulu via Alaska Airlines for the first time... because Hawaiian Airlines, my usual carrier, doesn't fly to New Jersey! Booking a ticket online was easy! I even was emailed an update when the flight times of one of the legs of this trip changed. I was able to check-in online, got my Departure Gate, and received my boarding passes on my phone, too! Service was excellent at the gate because passengers were offered free check-in luggage for our carry-on bags - since there's limited overhead compartment space. I volunteered my bag. It should arrive tomorrow in New Jersey when we get there. On board, flight attendants were extremely helpful when I showed them my bleeding finger. I was given 2 band-aids and antibiotic ointment! One flight attendant even dabbed the pooling blood from my finger before it dripped! LOL! The seat has great support for the back! The headrest has side flaps to prevent leaning on the persons sitting next to me. Because I have T-Mobile, Wi-Fi is free on board! Otherwise, it would be $8. I can watch many movies, text, and write Yelp reviews! Haha! Overall, the flight was relatively smooth and uneventful. We had some turbulent sessions before we landed, but nothing major. I appreciate the Biscoff cookies, Pretzels with Monk Fruit/garlic seasoning, and cups of water and guava juice! Cony and Brown even received chocolates and a pair of flight wings!!! Thank you, Alaska Airlines, for a safe, fun adventure! Thanks to my friends for texting, complimenting, and making comments on my posts... I didn't have time to watch any movies!

First experience, switched over from Hawaiian Airlines to Atmos. Had to set up a new account with Atmos. Next day, tried signing in to account unable to because password incorrect(password was correct on my end). Selected *forgot my Password*. Created new password. Still didn't work. 6 attempts. Customer Service: First call 9:05pm, asked for call back in 1.5 hour. Two hours later, no call back. 2.5 hours later they called back only to put me on hold again! So as of now, 11:38pm...... still on hold!!!!!

(Traveled 08/29/24 TH @ 2:05pm and several times before and after): I'll ask ya... how was the flight!? Alaska Airlines recently became one of my favorite airlines, and by default my airline of choice to/from Honolulu, Hawaii to visit while I checked on the property my family recently acquired and a few new clients I picked up along the way. Additionally, they've also become my airline of choice to/from Newark, New Jersey. Although my favorite domestic carrier Southwest Airlines flew to Hawaii, their fares always seemed to be a tad higher and oftentimes didn't have direct flights. Plus, I was able to get mileage points! This was my story: PURCHASE One-Way Coach Cabin Super Saver Airfare ($148.20): Since I booked the flight roughly three months before its departure, this fare was within my comfort level of $150.00 for any one-way domestic air travel during the high season (summer months). On an afternoon flight out of Honolulu HNL that arrived in Los Angeles LAX https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=KmZs01gm6Lhobxj3ei_CbA around 9:45pm the same day, the one-way flight departed and nearly arrived on-time. Checked Luggage (N/A): Thankfully, I traveled light and only had a carry-on and backpack. Otherwise, they customarily charged $30.00/bag. With the exception of Southwest Airlines or you were a high-ranking passenger, basically all carriers charged for checked luggage. C'est la vie... FLIGHT EXPERIENCE ~Check-in: I checked-in online 24-hours prior, had my QR code boarding pass on their app, and traveled with only a carry-on and backpack, so I was ready to go! Then, it was off to the security checkpoints and through the necessary TSA Pre-Check pleasantries (thankfully, all the passengers knew what they needed to do). Once that was done, I was released to my plane's gate and left to my own devices with the sadness that always came when having to return home to reality - bummer! ~Seats: Come on, it was the same sardine can like all airplanes these days, so unless you were in Business or First Class you got to know your neighbors to the left, right, front, and back of you! ~In-flight Meals/Snacks (Varied; only snacks this instance): The drink cart along with a small packaged snack https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=5xNtgrUalPa_sGREd-lc6A came out once we were at coasting altitude. Alcohol and some kind of food were made available for purchase. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, and facial tissues... but could've been cleaned more often. ~Service & Amenities: All uniformly-dressed flight attendants were adequate and spoke perfect English. None of the seats had video monitors for movie/show watching, music listening, and games playing. The seats themselves were roomy enough. No blankets, headphones, or pillows were provided. Because of the afternoon flight time, the attendants didn't come around as often which was fine in this case. There were no carry-on baggage fees. PARKING (Varied; N/A this instance) I was traveling through and had no need to park. However, the airport offered onsite parking structures with rates that varied from FREE (less than 15 minutes) to $25.00/daily maximum. Because this was located within Terminal 2 of departing flights, you had to already be an outgoing or incoming passenger to even get here, so parking would be a moot point. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located deep into Terminal 2 (specifically near Gates E4-E10) filled with several gates, plenty of reasonably-priced eateries and duty-free shops, and a handful of monitors as you passed them along the way. There were sufficient places to sit in the terminal with plenty of natural and electric lighting. OVERALL My one-way flight on Alaska Airlines out of HNL was fine and got me home safely which truthfully was all that mattered to me on any domestic flights. I wished there were seat video monitors that helped pass the time. In any case, I'd fly and recommend them again. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $148.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...AMEX! 4.0 STARS
