Absolutely rude and ignorant. Please advise. Never received any communication about where or when to meet our lei greeter. 5 of us wasted an hour and half looking around our luggage area for our greeter. Never got our leis. Never got a call or email from this company until our last day and they refused to refund us. Do not use them. Communication to the woman I called to ask about what happened was so ignorant and appalling i cannot believe she is in a customer service role, she would not even let me talk. I'm still upset and I plan to report them to the BBB. Folks beware.

Horrible if I could give zero stars I would I planned a lei greeting for my husbands first trip to Hawaii we waited 45 minutes no one showed up I kept calling they said someone should be meeting us and that they would call me to "coordinate " meeting up NO YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE ALREADY completely ruined my surprise to my husband unreliable and never ever again do not book with them you've been warned

Horrible. Booked way in advance over six months ago. Extremely rude customer service... Not only that I waited 30 minutes and they did a no-show! Just disgusting. Could not get anyone on the phone called them multiple times while I was waiting. Gave up at 30 minutes and then it took me only three minutes to jump in a cab. I should've done that 30 minutes previous. They said they're going to mail me a check because I sent them multiple emails telling them I am going to dispute the charge and not pay it... Even though they already charged my card. Be aware... They are horrible. Completely ruined my arrival... I wanted a lei and did not get one. I don't know what kind of bullshit racket they are running... But they just need to go out of business.

This package was booked though Hawaiian Airlines. Lei and transportation. I thought they did a great job! The staff was friendly and they took good care of us. The Lei greater on 10/29/18 about 10:45AM was there waiting for us with fresh lei's and lead us to where we picked up our luggage then directed us to our driver who did a great job with our luggage and getting to our hotel. Pickup10/06/18 11:45AM was a little late about 13min but they scheduled the pickup time that got us to the airport at perfect time anyways. And in with Waikiki traffic and loading and unloading guests I can understand if the driver can be a little late on the return especially if you're the last hotel on the stop. The driver was very nice and helped us with out bags. I've worked as a shuttle driver before for a hotel and thought they did an excellent service. Communication was good. The called the day before to our hotel to confirm pickup and sent an email reminder about out arrival pickup. Also the vans were newer and clean. I'm a sucker for a free breakfast but didn't go because I didn't want a sales pitch. Although for some it might be a good thing if they have no clue about what to do on the island. My guess...

Really wish we would have read the reviews before booking. Please listen to the reviews. My bf tried to surprise me with a sign & a lei. Well the lady showed up with a sign & a Lei, but we had to search her out cause she wasn't holding up the sign. She was at a counter writing in her notepad. She was super sweet but ruined the experience. BUT THEN turns out there was no shuttle there for us because they didn't have our information even though we booked this months ago. So we didn't get picked up until an hour & a half later. Finally get picked up & our driver makes a stop by his car to get a pen...ummm ok? We are 15 minutes into the drive to our hotel & the driver gets a call he needs to turn around & get someone at the airport. We told him NO! You have already wasted so much of our day & the lady in our shuttle with us was already late for a meeting. So he called his boss to tell him that we were late & the boss said he didn't care, told him to turn around anyway & get the person from the airport. Why is the guy at the airport so much more important than us who have already been screwed 2 hours out of our vacation? So the driver ended up dropping us at a random corner because he "is just doing his job" & we had to wait for a Lyft. Great customer service for $108, what a piece of shit company. Currently the company is "investigating" before refunding us. What is there to investigate? We paid for a ride, we didn't get a ride. Way to start out our vacation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Why bother writing this review? Let me guess, you booked this company through someone else (like your airline) only to be treated poorly. Now you are reading all the terrible experiences of others... well here is mine. Booked flight on Hawaiian Airlines and paid for the shuttle service to my hotel. When we landed one guy found us and told us to meet him near the exit of baggage claim when we got our bags. All good so far. Then we are told there has been some mistake and there is no van for us. Umm..ok. I asked the guy who appeared in charge (George) why we didn't have a van. He said:" your not on my list". I said "then how is my name and all my family's name printed on his list?" (Pointing at the person who originally flagged us down). He said "I don't know, but be sure to let me know when you find out." And walked away! So I had to call the office to get them to send out another shuttle! 10 minute wait and the same guy (George) says I fixed it I have a van for you now. What a jerk! I would tell you to avoid this place, but nobody checks their Yelp rating, so this company will just continue to be rude and terrible.

I am really suprised to read all the negative reviews on here! Maybe its a matter of the people with positive experiences just aren't posting on Yelp! Whatever the case may be, I am going to pass on my experience with Diamond Head Vacations. I honestly can't imagine how it could have gone much smoother than it did. I also opted for the transportation option when setting up my flight through Hawaiian Airlines. We decided to forgo renting a car on this trip(which would change later), so we needed transportation to/from the Airport to Waikiki. I believe the price was $48 for everything, which seemed fair considering how cab fare may have been. When we got off the plane, we were immediatley greeted by Aida (I hope I got that right!). She was a complete sweetheart! Very chatty and personable, she guides us to pick up our checked luggage and than takes us curbside to grab our ride. She was awesome! She welcomed us to the island and shared a wealth of information with us that we needed for our stay! On top of that, she refused to take the tip we tried to give her! Being from Vegas, I wasn't sure how to react at first! that doesn't happen in this town too often! Thank You Aida! The shuttle only had 4 people on it, so we were dropped off in front of our hotel pretty quickly. He was friendly as well. The pick up was masterful! Now I've read where some people say the pick up was great, but the ride back was...less that great. We had read this and were bracing ourselves. But it was just as easy as drop off! We went down to the pick up spot 20 minutes before the scheduled time. Well, our ride was there 10 minutes later! he was actually 10 minutes early! Sweet! He loaded up our bags and shuttled us right to where we needed to be! We had such a great experience with this company that I just believe that there has to be alot of others with good experiences that aren't posting those experiences on Yelp!. Thank you Diamond Head Vacations for making it so that getting to/from the airposrt was never an issue we had to deal with on our vacation! 5 stars.

Well, I'm torn between 2 and 3 stars because the experience wasn't good, but not terrible, but still frustrating. I'll go with 3 to be generous. :) We got picked up on arrival, and they eventually got us to our departure flight, but some of the in between was less than stellar. A really nice lady, Annette, was waiting for us right after we got off the plane and directed us to baggage claim. When we found her there, we thought we were waiting for another party...turns out she assumed we had baggage, but we didn't. That cleared up, a nice young guy took us to the bus. Only one other person was on it. "Cousin Bob" drove us to our hotels and gave us a little bit of a narrated tour, a friendly touch. At one point he said "our first stop will be the Ala Moana Hotel...then the Sheraton". What? We weren't staying at either place. We were at the Doubletree Alana, and our confirmation even said that, but somehow Cousin Bob got directed to the Ala Moana. Fortunately, it was an easy correction and we got there without any delays. For our hotel pickup, it was more frustrating. We got downstairs at 1000 to be sure to be there for our 1015 pickup. Instructions said to call if we weren't picked up within 10 minutes after our scheduled time. So we called at 1025, and we were told someone was on their way. Waited another 30 minutes and called again at 1055. Apparently something happened with the first driver and they needed to send another one, would be there in about 5 minutes, and that actually happened. Fortunately we had plenty of time, but it was a bit frustrating spending those last 45 minutes in Waikiki standing out on the curb waiting for a shuttle that was supposed to be there "at any minute". We too booked this service thru Hawaiian Airlines. If you've already purchased an advance voucher, I wouldn't be overly concerned. I think they'll give you reasonable service, but be sure to follow the instructions and double-check everything just in case.

I took the Speedi Shuttle to my hotel because it said the $30 round trip bus would take me directly to my hotel. Not sure how correct that is... The offer came up when I bought my airplane tix on the Hawaiian Airlines website. I thought it would be a bus of all people staying at the Hilton, but it happened that I was the first hotel. On the way to the airport they picked me up and stopped at 2 other hotels. And even though this was "arranged" by DHV, the actual bus is a Speedi Bus. When I landed tho, a person with a sign/my name was waiting for me, which was AWESOME. $30 is a good price.
