Come here on a weekday not a weekend. I've attempted to come to the ghost bar last year and a few weeks ago on a weekend night. Don't do it. There's a crazy long line outside to get inside and the space is not that big. It's a bar, I guess, with seats and cool Halloween decor. The prices per drink range from $10 and up. All three drinks we tried were actually tasty and not overall sweet. I was hesitant to get the killer clown because it's a sweet drink with milk, but I just had dinner and wanted a dessert like drink. It's cute because there was a big red nose for you to keep on the straw. As for the taste, it wasn't that sweet and was the perfect amount for me. I never order mixed drinks, so when I say not bad, it was not overpowering. Definitely a dessert drink though and I wouldn't order if I wanted to just drink for the night. I also didn't really taste much alcohol in my drink. My friends ordered the vampire bite and another ordered the cool drink with a light up cube with lilikoi, it was similar to an alcoholic lilikoi blended drink. It wasn't too sweet either! Overall, cool place to try out at least one during the Halloween season. I wouldn't go back because it's pricey and all the drinks are mixed sweet ones which usually aren't what I prefer. Fun place to get festive though. You are definitely paying for the ambiance and vibe more than anything else.

They are back!!! This time in the old Cafe Lani space which is much larger. They even have a restroom in the location. They just opened yesterday and are open 5pm until midnight Su-Thu and until 2am on Fridays & Saturdays through Halloween. Fun Halloween themed pop up bar with drinks that are just as festive. They serve their shots in a syringe and have a prop coffin that makes for a great photo op. Goose shot with strawberry ($10) in a syringe. Good amount of alcohol as it is a large vessel. Faceless Lady ($7) shochu, lychee, lemon-lime soda. Spider ring to keep. Green Lady ($7) shochu, melona, lemon-lime soda. Spider ring to keep. Drinks are in smaller plastic cups and on the sweeter side which is an ode to the candy holiday. Not the place to get hammered as the drinks aren't that strong. I can appreciate the work and cost that has gone into putting up such an elaborate pop up for my favorite holiday. If you love Halloween like I do, Ghost Bar is a must, costumes optional. Can't want to go back!

This is a pop up Halloween themed bar on the second level of the Ala Moana Center. It is right next to Longs Drugs on the parking garage side. The bar has some cool decorations and unique novelty drinks. When I went there the place was packed. I had to wait a few minutes in a line while they checked IDs. Then I never was able to get a seat. I stood at a bar area along the side wall. It is open seating, so it's everyone for themselves when they get in. There most popular drink by far is the one that comes in a trick or treat pumpkin and serves 2 to 4. Seating is on picnic tables positioned around the bar. You can either go up to the bar at the front door and place your drink order or they have servers that can take your order from you where you are, if you are paying with a credit card. This be is a novelty and is only open in the month of October. The crowd is a mid to late 20-ish crowd. The draw for me was the novelty. I had to check this place out. For me it is not a place that I would visit frequently. But like I said, it is a must see, especially for Halloween lovers.

Halloween themed bar... I saw someone's check in here, so I asked my friends to go with me. I do not like spooky, but the novelty of it lured me in... Ghost Bar is a fun pop-up at Ala Moana Shopping Center. It's located right next to Jamba Juice on the Mall Level, near the Piikoi Street ramp. Just go up to the cashier, place your order, and wait for your drink at the other end of the counter. Be patient if you want a seat. It's first come, first served. I got the Syringe Shot with Grey Goose and Strawberry syrup. It was fun and cool! My friends got a beer and other themed beverages! We enjoyed the complimentary candies...thank you! The Spinach Artichoke Dip with crackers was a yummy snack! The decor is really cool! There's a coffin, blood all over the tables, shelves of spooky dolls, a creepy clown, etc. Some of the drinks have black spiders on them! (Shudder!) I'd go again if other people wanted to go. Maybe I'd get a shaved snow next time!

Located in the old Ninja Sushi spot on the mall level (Nordstrom side) next to Jamba Juice. What a perfect located as this is where I usually park anyway! As I walked in, I realized that people dress up in costume and realized I should've known that. Oops! Whelp, my friends and I show up in normal attire and we were fine. Order at the counter and find your seat anywhere you can. We ended up at the standing bar for a little bit because at the time (8pm), there were no seats. I guess that's the only downfall about this place as there aren't that many places to sit. We stood at the bar and my friend thought she got red liquid on her purse that she put on the table. We all cracked up as it was fake blood decor that wasn't liquid at all. What a good prank. We ended up getting the party bowl in the jack o lantern and tried some syringe shots. Those syringe shots were not sweet, which I like! The party bowl was sweet but good to share amongst a group of friends. Loved the decor that they did and I hope they have a pop up next year as well! I'm always down to celebrate the holidays and special occasions. They should do one every chance they get.

What a...COOL concept! A themed Halloween Pop-Up Bar! Just genius!!! Hats off to the creators of this themed bar! A well executed idea! I love coming here! The moment I stepped foot into the GHOST BAR, I was mesmerized with the theme. It was like walking into a HAUNTED HOUSE. Not kidding. There were EERIE...SCARY...GHOULISH props set up everywhere. Employees dressed up as scary characters; Creepy dolls and decapitated heads displayed on walls; scary looking bodies in corners of the bar; a stand up coffin for those dare to go in ; fake blood splattered on the bar and table tops; interactive picture frames and jack-o-lanterns; freaky old Halloween movies shown on flat screen t.v.'s; skeleton centerpieces and so much more... Halloween themed drinks and candies on the tables are part of the theme, too. I tried the...FACELESS LADY cocktail that came with a spider ring...cute accessory! The drink was ok. Not sure I would order this again. It supposed to have a lychee flavor, but I was not able to taste it. On another night, I tried the...GREEN LADY that also came with a spider ring. Now, this drink was...GHOULISHLY de-LISH! The melona in this drink was a "home run!" Yum, yum, yum. So, if you are in the mood for some HALLOWEEN FUN? Go and take your friends there. You'll thank me for that!

Came here after work on their opening day. Really nice ambience to get you into the Halloween spirit. They have a bunch of tables and booths on the side. The prices are pretty reasonable and they have a selection of Halloween mixed drinks as well as beer and wines. Only a couple non-alcoholic beverages but let's be real, you're going to a bar for a reason. They have a few pupu looking snacks to munch on while drinking. I had the faceless lady drink in melona which was really good. Gotta love me some sochu! I can see this place being really busy as it gets closer to Halloween especially in the evening when the sun goes down.

Cool pop up place to stop in and check out. I don't recommend coming here for a night out. Way over priced and seating is very, very limited. Other places with a more lively and fun environment to enjoy than here.

Okay, the decor is fun, the service is quick, and the drinks are alright. It's cute to see folks dress up in costume just to have a good time. One star short of perfect because the restroom is really really unpleasant smelling :(

I'm glad to see the concept getting started here but spoiled by the Washington DC pop up bars where they go all out. It's no wonder they charge $18ish a drink compared to the affordable $7 here. FACELESS LADY Cocktail: We had high hopes but didn't finish or drink even a quarter of it. It was very sweet with a bite. Maybe try the Plantation Tea? That sounded like it had potential.
