Well it doesn't get much better than this! From the moment I requested a condo (1116) to the time we left everything went flawlessly. They have a great system worked out for contactless check-in and check-out. They always answered my emails within a business day and were more than happy to answer any questions I had. As far as the room Condo 1116 was EXACTLY as shown in the photos, everything was updated and working well. The kitchen was well supplied with every utensil and knife needed. The bed and pillows were comfy and gave us a good nights rest. The view, well it's amazing! I have nothing bad to report on this company or room we stayed in. Book it now! Stayed in unit 1925 at the Ilikai. Pictures of the unit were deceiving as the furniture is crap, the street noise is significant and the ac unit in the primary bedroom leaks like a faucet is on. This unit needs some attention - 3 adults, sharing two bedrooms slept horribly, waking up with aches and pains each morning from the uncomfortable mattresses and very flat pillows. The couch needs to be replaced with something a bit higher quality as the one in the unit sags significantly and the cushions slide off the couch. The furniture looks to be from the 90's and has chips and knicks everywhere. The ilikai is an older building so the windows leave a lot to be desired. Even on the 19th floor, there was a lot of street noise - loud exhausts, clanging of bells from the trolleys, people screaming, sirens, horns... you name it. The Hilton Hawaiian next door is FAR nicer with much better amenities and worth the extra money. The

Everything was perfect. From making the reservation to auto check in on a Sunday to all the amenities in the condo, it was all perfect! And the view?? Words can't describe how beautiful and amazing that was. It was a perfect seat for Friday fireworks with no crowd. The sunset was beautiful just to the right of the lanai and the full moon over the ocean in super early morning hours was breathtaking. Yes it's an older condo in comparison to a lot of the hotels but it was still the perfect place to stay with the family. The full kitchen and washer and dryer was a huge plus for us. We will definitely stay here again when we visit this island

We stayed in room 1228 at the Ilikai Hotel and they were not kidding about the view. The room overlooks the lagoon and you get a fantastic view of the Friday night firework show at the Hilton. So many restaurants nearby but the best was Cinnamons in the hotel. The pools were clean and the staff was super friendly. Having a room with a fully furnished kitchen is a total game-changer. We saved so much by being able to cook breakfast and pack lunch/snacks for the beach. Speaking of saving money, booking directly through Marina Hawaii Vacations saves you tons. You don't get all the crazy fees with Air B&B-style rentals. We will definitely be returning customers.

The location was perfect. I can't complain about that. It was a couple minute walk right to the beach. And 10 minute walk to the Ala Moana Mall. It seemed like a very, very safe area. I didn't at all feel uncomfortable. It's such a short drive to the waikiki beach and shopping street area. I was happy about that, and it's not at all far from the Airport. I know that every apartment is different but we stayed on the 10th floor and everything was so out-dated. The bed they had was very comfortable. And the sofa bed was terrible to lay on. Luckily the room was right beside the garbage shoot because that's a far walk from one end to the other. This place doesn't have a pool. Not exactly aure what security was for because anyone could walk in and out of this place easily. The balcony that we had had the view of the ship docks, which was beautiful because the sunset right ahead of that. The room that we had had all working utilities, but both broken beach chairs and boogie boards. I would find elsewhere to stay at next time. The hilton is right beside us and it wasn't THAT much more than what we paid.

This Company asked for my review but didn't post it on their direct web site. Probably cause I provide my honest opinion. We stayed on a third floor corner unit for 9 days. Great location and views but that's about it. Noisy unit - u can hear everything and the old broken blinds certainly didn't block out noise or lights. Old dated furniture from the 1970's. Bring your own toiletries and TP cause they only provide one roll and one tiny bar of soap. 4 towel sets for 4 people for 9 days. You either pay extra for house keeping or do your own laundry. Kitchen had more odd pot lids than pans. Lack of utensils - two spoons and a few forks and knives. Mismatch plates and bowls. The AC works but it's loud. They provided no bed covers and 4 dirty old mismatch blankets for 4 people. I had to wash them immediately cause it was gross! The bathroom hallway light switch flickers and needs to be fixed. The bathroom floor needed to be wiped clean. They placed a plunger next to the toilet, which luckily we didn't need to use. The wifi worked at least. Furniture so old that even a thrift store doesn't want it. I think the king size bed was the only piece of fairly new furniture in the unit. Provided with 4 delated pillows as flat as a pancake. Parking is 23.00 per day and very close to the unit. Laundry room open only from 6am to 10pm. Gets locked exactly at 10pm so my wet clothes were locked inside. At least the friendly night guard was kind enough to open the door for me to get my clothes. My vacation consist of laundry, buying supplies (no beach towels and it only comes with starter kit of one tiny bar of soap, tp, etc). Our view from the unit windows consist of a homeless person who camped on the sidewalk all week. A fishing tour boat leaves every morning at 8am. There are people who go through the trash cans looking for recycle goods right across the unit each day. The unit is above Chart house so you can hear all the outside noise at night. Sadly this unit need a major facelift- it has so much potential. One redeeming factor- saw the Friday nite fireworks over the harbor lagoon from our bird covered pooped lanai. Bird poop on the rails and floors. If you advertise beautiful views from the lanai - at least wash down the lanai - it needs to be swept and hosed down. Stay here at your own risk!!

The apartment was neat mostly clean except the edge of the light switches lined with dirt a floor lamp is needed in the bedroom area. If there is a dishwasher, we would be more comfortable with the hygiene n cleanliness of the ceramics in-house The customer service of MHV staff are professional, efficient and courteous. salute to Maki-San.
