Love love loved our night of Tango. We danced for 2 hours straight! Jenny and Brad are two great instructors. Brad showed us a few moves as a group, for about an hour. His demonstration was easy to follow and to understand. Everybody rotated partners for each new move. In addition, Jenny and Brad are the couple that famously Tangoed through the 2014 Honolulu Marathon, and won more than one world tango championship! In real life, they are really cool & funny people! After about an hour of instruction, they put in some sexy Tango music, and everyone practiced their dance moves. If you like to dance, dress up, have a fun evening, be sure to try out Paradise Tango. It was a fantastic evening with lots of wine, sangria & food. Ladies dressed to impress, and the gentlemen were ready to lead them on the dance floor.

I was able to take a few Mambo classes at Paradise Tango. It was a very clean dance studio and my Instructor Ali was a Gem. I had some trouble finding it at first I missed the Banner on the stairs that read, "Paradise Tango," so I drove by it several times. It is on the second floor of the building. Overall, I had a good experience.

Love this studio! My fiancé and I don't dance but wanted to learn for our wedding. This is the place to go. Jenny and Brett are so patient and really found ways to help us learn. We never got frustrated or embarrassed and just had fun. We felt so confident. Learning to dance was a great way to spend time together and prepare for our wedding.

If you want to learn how to dance this is the place you want to go. Jenn and Brett are excellent teachers. The group classes are really fun and it's OK if you do not have a partner because there is always someone there to dance with. They start with the basics then you learn a routine. Super fun!! Brett makes jokes the whole time. Everyone is laid back. Wine and tango is really fun too!! I've danced in heels and flats. It's better if you have heels but I did fine with flats. $2 Thursday's is a great way to try it out. The weekend classes you can learn a lot more. It's fun for a girls night out or for date night with your boo.

Brett and Jenny are simply amazing tango dancers and to watch them is to be inspired. As instructors, they're personable, thorough and genuinely care that each student is learning and having fun. You can easily tell how much they love dancing and the passion they have for both tango and teaching and how much they want to share that love and passion with others. Parking is free on Sundays for the lessons and usually easy to find nearby with only a 1-2 minute walk at most and that's super helpful. I find classes exciting, fun and love learning something new each week. The practica (informal social dancing to practice and get better) on Tuesdays for $2 is also a great way to meet new people and practice what I learned on the previous Sunday.

Beginners, intermediates, or professional dancers, Paradise Tango has something for all. Brett and Jen do an excellent job of facilitating a relaxed and welcoming environment for beginners to learn the basics and advanced dancers to work on embellishments. Although Argentine tango is typically an "inward emotion" kind of dance, you would not be able to tell as you will see a lot of smiling and laughing at Paradise Tango since they have made it such a fun place to learn. If you're still unsure or nervous about trying Argentine tango, Paradise Tango is the perfect place to try it out for the first (or fifty first) time when they take the edge off with their "Wine and Tango" event every third Saturday of the month for only $15. That's 3+ hours of learning, dancing, meeting new people, snacking, and drinking wine all for less than the price of a glass of some of those same wines at any restaurant in town! They also offer a variety of other classes designed to help one become a better dancer, but helps with overall fitness as well. These include a stretching class and roll-out class using foam rollers to release tension in the muscles. Having taken the latter class actually helped me recover from a recent marathon going from gimping along back to walking normally over night!

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! The instructors are masters of their art, and they make tango fun and accessible for dancers of all skill levels. My husband and I have taken private, group, and social classes and we have had a great time, every time and learned so much! If you are looking for a fun night out, or a just want to try something new, I highly recommend you check this place out!

I haven't found such a great tango studio since I lived in Buenos Aires! Great atmosphere, helpful instructors and super affordable with so many events. I have been to other tango classes and studios in Honolulu and haven't found one to quite compare.
