Great place to eat at if youre not in the mood for Kapiolani CC's cafeteria food or vending machines. Every time Ive eaten here its been good service, consistent food, and always inexpensive. This location participates in the 5.00 sub of the day and the Subway rewards program. Conveniently located near student activities. Lots of chairs and tables to work at, even charging stations. AC feels good in the summer too.

I waited 30 minutes for a tea lol. Also, I have never ever ever seen a subway do this but... they are extremely parsimonious (like that big word ;)?) with their veggies. Both times I've been here. First time I got a 6inch and asked for cucumbers and the person carefully laid out 3 in a row on the sandwich. They're big cucumber slices so I thought that was normal. But then I asked for pickles.. one pickle slice per cucumber. I also asked for banana peppers and Olives. 3 small pieces of banana peppers and 6 olives pieces lol. When I asked for spinach, they laid out 3 leaves, I am DEAD ASS SERIOUS LOL. 12 inch was just the same but doubled, for real. You know how long it takes to be counting things like that when there's a long line? Idk. I do not know lmao.

My second ever review, will be about the place I eat at the most. First thing I have to critique is what I notice first when I'm on the customer side of that sneeze guard. And that is the cleanliness. Its not the cleanest Subway I seen, but its not bad, it doesnt have as much grease, crumbs, and food particles as you'd expect. My manager is anal about it. They also wipe the glass down every so often and wipe the sandwich area after each wave of customers. Next is the consistency of the sandwiches, they are pretty generous with vegetable portions and sauces, although sometimes you might have to ask for more. Though the meats are kind of scarce as opposed to sandwiches in regular restaurants, but that's the owner's set portions. Lastly is the look and stability of the end product. Most of the time, due to the rushed lunch rush(yes rush times two) the sandwiches themselves look rushed. I can honestly say a lot of my sandwiches aren't pretty, but if its theres no line and you don't order a meatball with all vegis(I seriously hate that with a burning passion, but back to unbias) I can try to make it pretty and stable as humanly possible. Anyways, the sandwiches a lot of times can't keep all the vegis in, tsk. Sometimes I just order 4 vegis and flat meat with no volume to it and it still had lettuce all over the place. My favorites are Chipotle Chicken with Cheddar cheese, idc if its toasted or not. So if you're ever on campus and wanna get away from the cafe, come by, but not while I'm working. :) (hahajk just no huge meats with all vegis)

I am buying a soda and you can't exchange one dollar for quarters? You just lost a costumer Sub hue hue hue I feel sorry for any Subway worker, it has been so far the most miserable job I ever had (Hi Welcome to Subway,fake smile) I don't know if the kid didn't exchange the effing dollar because the owner was around. He looks mean.

They have a lot that they need to improve. I waited at the counter of a vacant Subway this morning for 8 mins and couldn't get help with a sandwich. The coffee workers that worked behind the same counter didn't bother to call anyone to help either. I come to KCC for school all day and I would think I could just get something to eat on the way to class, but I guess not. I probably could have gone behind the counter myself and make a sandwich then have gotten away with it.

When I stopped by yesterday, I ordered an oven roasted chicken 6" sub on 9 grain wheat. Lite mayo, mustard, pepper jack cheese, veggies, vinegar, and pepper completed my sandwich. I was so hungry so it disappeared rather quickly. My food was decent. I liked everything except for the bread and chicken. It was a preformed patty with additives rather than pure chicken. Plus the wheat wasn't 100% whole wheat like I prefer. I was famished so I settled for it. This Subway is tucked away on the corner of the Iliahi building by the parking lot. What I like about it is that there are lots of seats. There are tables outside with umbrellas to help block the sun. I prefer inside because it's air conditioned. It's interesting here with only a small customer order area and a small work space for the employees behind the counter. The rest of the place is not Subway related at all, but school related with computers and desks. On the menu there are subs, flat bread, salads, soup, cookies, chips, and drinks available for consumption. The employees were fast, attentive, and had a positive attitude. I will definitely be back if I'm starving again.

I'm a student at KCC and I would sometimes eat subway for breakfast. But twice I've found spoiled veggies in my sandwich. DON'T EAT HERE

This is my prime location being that I am on campus 8 hours of the day. But this is not my location by choice. The service here could be better. There is one girl working here that can use a serious attitude check. She rushes customers, doesn't wait until they are completely done ordering until shes dumping them at the register. I know once or twice she got my veggies wrong and assumed that I wanted this and that.. or when I said what I wanted, shed be like "WHAT?!", and thats before I even finish.. so work on that home girl ^__^ the one guy working the register is really nice and pleasant and always says have a nice day so I guess he's counter acting her attitude.

This is the fastest most efficient subway I've ever been to. These workers are really rocking it and I hope they make at least $14 an hour because everyone pays with cards and they barely get tips. And this subway is BUSY. They do a great job.

This is the only Subway that won't let you get mozzarella cheese on your sandwich. Why ask what cheese I want if you won't give me what I'm willing to pay for? Is there a statute written by legislation requiring no citizen to get mozzarella on a 6 in Spicy Italian on flatbread begging to get smeared with marinara sauce and topped with mozzarella, followed by a trip to the toaster?! On top of that, when you get your veggies, they will LITERALLY put two leaves of baby spinach on it and call it a sandwich. Also, the coffee in the morning is absolutely horrible.
