We were walking around the food court and got some food from here. We ordered the chicken pho $13 and lemongrass chicken banh mi $9. The lemongrass chicken banh mi was excellent. The seasoning was spot on and the baguette was toasted just right. It was warm and crispy, not hard. The pho was alright. They put lettuce in the pho. They didn't have the bean sprouts and Thai basil that I'm used to. After we placed our order and they were prepping our food, I noticed that the cashier in the front did not change gloves. A lady came after us and paid in cash. I saw him touch the money, then pick up the lettuce to put in the bowl of pho. Yikes!

I go to this stall in the Maunakea Marketplace food court when I want a banh mi to go. I usually order the "special"... It's now $11. It's a good banh mi with sufficient filling. A little more pickled vegetables would make it "perfect".

I am a big fan of Vietnamese Bahn Mi sandwiches and lately I've had difficulty finding good ones. My favorites from before have succumbed to the inflation in our economy and their sandwiches are no longer as good as before. I ordered a BBQ chicken Bahn Mi sandwich from Viet Nam Pho and Sandwiches in the Maunakea Marketplace and was I little disappointed. It was OK and the fresh jalapeños were a nice touch but I didn't care for the bun. The bun is a very very important factor in a Bahn MI, but this one was just too doughy on the inside. I was so disappointed. Wont order Bahn Mi from them again

An excellent pork bánh mì sandwich at a hole-in-the-wall food stall in the Maunakea Marketplace in Chinatown. Real Honolulu, devoid of all the glitz. It's all in the quality of the bread. It was very good!

When I tell you this took me back to the streets of Vietnam at my first bite of the banh mi. WOW. We found this place thanks to Sean kaleponi and his wife. Boy and I glad we squeezed in this stop before heading to the airport. The co who owns and works the stand was so kind and really puts love into her cooking. I got the Banh Mi Dac Biet (special combo). It was sooo good!! I brought it home to my mom and even 12hours later it was still delicious.

Was looking for a good Bahn Mi while in Chinatown and decided to come to this food hawker market area. The customer service was great with seating in front. Don't expect anything high end. This was a classic hole in the wall but the sandwich was great! Ordered their lemongrass chicken sandwich that came out to $10. Would recommend!

Cash only inside the Chinatown plaza in the food court with many other vendors. I only ordered 1 special banh mi as a snack and it was sooo good! It was already made so I didn't have to wait. The pickled veggies were kind of on the sweet side but the sandwich was still delicious! I love how they put in Thai chili peppers instead of jalapeños its such a game changer! Give them a try! The banh mi was on the pricier side though being $10. Worth it!

Hidden inside Maunakea Marketplace in Chinatown. This is a small vendor selling simple Vietnamese cuisines. I passed by there many times and been wanting to try their banhmi. One day, I ordered a lemongrass chicken banh mi $9. I would recommend paying with cash. Meat was microwaved while I noticed them prepping it. The flavor was still there but a bit dry. Bread was very crispy. The mayo wasn't overly spread on the bread. It was a pretty good sandwich. I would try other stuff on the menu next time. It's probably cheaper than the restaurants.
