These are the best spicy noodles in town. First tried these at an open market and am so glad that there is now a brick and mortar to go to so I can enjoy them when I get the craving. The noodles are fresh and handmade and the beef and duck is just the right amount of amazing spicy. But be careful if you aren't used to spice. Highly recommend.

Hand pulled noodles sounded good so having passed by this place many times, it was time to check them out. Small but nice place with tables to dine in or take out. You order at the window and the food is brought out to you. This place is not for those who have no spice tolerance although the dishes we had wasn't bad at all (1 level spice) and I'm pretty much a spicy weenie. Most of the items are 3-4 spice level. So we ordered the cumin lamb noodle ( it was rated as 2 spice but the they took it down to 1) and the Curry Shrimp & Pork noodle (level 1) $17 and a lychee tea $3. Btw, I was pleasantly surprised to see this place DOESN'T charge the credit card fee like the many other places do now. So the food-- Cumin lamb noodle ($19) - the noodles were flat and wide as they are hand pulled. Had a nice chewy texture and not hard or tough. The lamb flavor really popped out with the cumin. I would say the flavor pretty much jumped out at me. If you're not into the gaminess of lamb, this dish may not be the one for you. The lamb meat was shredded and added on top with some kind of sauce. Very good and had a decent amount of shredded lamb. I did feel that $19 was a bit pricey for the dish though. Curry Shrimp & Pork Noodle ($17)-- was a huge hit with hubby. The curry was more a southeast Asian kind. He said there was a "sour" note to it that made it very savory and addicting. He couldn't really describe it but he said he couldn't stop eating it. Big time umami! There was a good amount of pork and shrimp over those nice chewy noodles. Although it was listed as level 1 spice, it wasn't spicy at all. Could've had a little kick at least. For $17, he thought it was reasonable. Lychee Tea ($3)-- loved it! Wasn't very sweet, just enough subtle sweetness. The staffer said she made it goji berries. Try this one! One thing though, I had to dock off a star because we found the noodle dishes very very salty. Not sure how the sauces were done but I couldn't eat very much. Which was a bummer cuz the flavor was there but was overwhelmed by the saltiness. Hopefully the owner will read this and pull back on the salt. But the staff was super friendly!

Glad I tried it, and sorry to say. Wouldn't go back. It's worth a try, but for me the value isnt there. It's a walk-up to the cashier, order, then sit down and have your food brought to your table kind of place. The owner/cashier was very warm and attentive. The menu selection is limited. With 99%of the items being spicy. 1%for lychee ice tea. If you like spicy foods. This is probably a must try for you. I can't handle spice. Ordered the least spicy dish modified to one spice level down. Which was supposed to be barely perceptible spice. For me, it was still spicy. Taste was good though. My friend got the beef dish. Said it was good, but very spicy. Combined with the lack of AC. There was a lot of heat in there. The amount of food : price is a bit expensive. The skill level of the hand pulled noodles were not impressive. I also wish there were 3x the amount of noodles. Or maybe if they offered an oomori noodle option? The owners seem lovely and owning a business is not an easy thing. So I hope not to deter customers, but this was my opinion.

Food is amazing! I rotate between the lamb and beef. My wife gets the mushroom tofu!! Glad there is a store front and no longer have to wait until Kakaako Market on Sat or Blaisdells on Wed.

My 1st try of this style noodle! Delicious Quaint little restaurant in Chinatown, Honolulu. A friend introduced me, and sent me the menu in advance so we could order. There was space to sit when we arrived so we sat in and ate. Unfortunately it was so hot inside, we were burning up. But the noodles were delicious. I had lamb and my friend had the beef. You can order in advance and grab to go...which is nice because this spot is popular. Metered parking or nearby Mark's Garage Casual Very friendly service!!!

The hand-pulled Biang Biang Noodles are amazing--can't say enough about them! The Maitake mushrooms were unexpectedly perfect, and together with the tofu, this bowl of noodles totally made my day.

When I went in around 12pm there was only ones person in front of me and I was able to get my takeout order in under 15min, the service here is wonderful. The waitress was very kind. When I went home to eat it was still warm and the pork and shrimp curry had so much flavor to it! I would highly recommend this one to all people who don't like spice. It was very mild and I loved that you could increase or decrease the spice level! Will definitely come again when I'm starving!

I'm glad that Youpo Noodles returned. They finally have their own brick and mortar store located in Chinatown between HK Cafe and DDJ Hawaii. Does anyone remember Rosarina Pizza? They have taken over that space. I would often go to Kakaako Farmers Market and Honolulu Farmer Market at Neil Blaisdell Center to get some of their hand-pulled noodles. Visited a couple of times around their grand opening day. I ordered curry shrimp and pork and the noodles were a bit thicker than before and the sauce was scarce. It was different than how it used to be at the farmer markets. However, during Chinatown's Lunar New Year festival, I've revisited after some time passed and got the curry shrimp and pork again as well as the duck. Both were a huge improvement. The noodles were thin and the sauces for both has the perfect amount. Super savory and flavorful. Definitely the same taste as how I missed it before. Overall, glad that they reopened and have their own space. I will definitely revisit whenever I'm in Chinatown. The owner is very nice. He's currently the only one working in the kitchen preparing the noodles and sauces. I also spoke with him for a bit and he's planning to do some pop-up dinners featuring Malaysian and Indonesian inspired dishes that he's very passionate about.

Got some good hot Asian food at this small restaurant that's in Chinatown. It specializes in noodles if that's not already obvious. Youpo Noodles has a pretty simple menu with only a few things. Okay though because it makes ordering a lot easier. The prices might be a little high but you get pretty big portions. Came in and there wasn't anyone else eating inside. It's probably a lot more popular as takeout. They have a pretty simple menu with choices for meat eaters and vegetarians. About as authentic flavor as it gets. It's about $17 for an entree, which is okay when considering the big portions. Among the noodle options are ones with meats such as chicken and duck. We got the Mushroom Tofu Noodles. It's the spiciest one they have. This has bean sprouts, bok choy, green onions, maitake mushrooms, pak choy, sesame seeds, and tofu. Has lots of noodle options plus a few other things on the menu. It's closed Tuesdays. They have a few things for vegans and vegetarians.

Hubs picked up for me since I have a bum foot right now and takes a while to walk. By HKs. Food arrived hot. Not a lot of sauce, so not sure if that or the steam made the noodles too soft. I was excited for the "pull" and none of that going on. Got the beef. Soft and very tasty. Good amount. I wish had more veggies cuz that adds a balance to the meat and noodles. Def a little bit of heat, which I like but can't share the leftovers with the baby. Sauce is pretty oily, I'm guessing from chili oil. I ate more than half...probs should have stopped at half b/c I was stufffffffed. I will definitely go back but maybe get the noodles separate, or eat in when I'm able to walk better.
