A takeout dimsum spot in Ala Moana's Lanai food court, YYK offers a number of sweet and salty dishes. It is located near Mana and the smoothie place in the Lanai. As it is in this food court, there is seating for all of the establishments in the food court. There are also some seats right outside of the fodo court. It does get crowded, though, so sometimes it can be difficult to find somewhere to sit. The service at YYK was fast and quite straightforward. We were looking for something quick, so YYK was a great option. The dimsum had the prices on them so it was clear how much the dishes were. It seemed that most, if not all, the food came in similar plastic containers. We decided to get the sweet and sour chicken, BBQ pork buns (2), and the garlic fried rice. Everything came out to about $17. This may be a tad much for the portions, but it was nice to be able to try a variety of foods. The garlic fried rice was pretty flavorful, just not much besides the rice in it. I was hoping there would be more eggs or some other type of protein. The chicken and the buns were good as well. Everything tasted good and had a good amount of flavor. The buns were pretty soft. We would definitely check this spot out again, when looking for a quick option in the mall!

Leaving this 2 star review here because on 11/4 I bought their won ton with the filling supposedly being shrimp (w/ XO sauce) . I ate one and felt that the texture was weird. I bit into the second one and saw that there was shrimp with pork. The pork was not cooked. It was still pink, raw. I do enjoy their other items, but this food safety issue made me feel queasy. I hope I don't get sick. If you get the won ton, double check before eating the whole container.

YYK dimsum is the only take out dim sum place in Ala Moana I think. It might be the only one in the area around the mall too. I miss the good old days when there were dim sum take out places all over haha. I might be showing my age. Anyway, YYK is located in the Lanai food court of Ala Moana. There is a ramen place, Brug, an iyasume, a burger place an Ahi and Vegetable. But this is the only dim sum place. It's a take out place and so it's just a counter where you order and pay. There are plenty of shared seats. It can get busy and noisy in this food court, but I hardly ever see a line at YYK. The prices are kind of high, but you can go before they close to get things at a discount. The dim sum is ok. Nothing amazing and I prefer to eat at a dim sum restaurant, but when you're desperate, this place will do. I like that they sell unsweetened iced tea and some other drinks too.

To go dim sum. Decent amount of shrimp. Seems like the dim sum has been sitting there for a bit, rice noodle roll isn't as fresh as it should be. Located in the Food court on the second level of A La Moana Mall. On the outside of the mall.

YYK Dim Sum located in the food court across from Macy's. They serve a variety of steamed, deep fried, and baked Dim Sum. Along with their Dim Sum offerings they also serve a variety of stir fried dishes. Service is somewhat challenging they're fast but somewhat stoic. Nice place if you want Dim Sum on the Go

I love the soy sauce noodle. The char sui bao was good as well. Service is quick. There are plenty of tables where you can eat your food there. This place is inside the lanai food court at Ala Moana.

Their attitude ! One server literally threw the receipt when I handed out my hand! This is the second time dealing with rude awakening of buying Chinese food or groceries! They closed their dim sum restaurant on Kapiolani Blvd., I know not many would care for their service because the food court always has been a busy place to go to with other options. I see many who takes a look and prices some a bit higher for small piece of delicious snugged into plastic trays snap with scotch tape. There's another server who's not like the younger ones she's polite with a shy smile...didn't get her photo but they are the face of the only dim sum counter in the food court!

I'm so bummed because I used to love this restaurant when it was on Kapiolani. The dim sum here seems so overpriced for what it is. The portion sizes decreased drastically, and the quality is not the same. The selection is also very limited, which is to be expected since it's a to-go place in a food court. If you come here, don't expect the dim sum to be as it used to. I also felt that the cashier seemed a bit rude. The customer in front of me was asking about a particular dish that she had before but the cashier/staff wasn't really helpful and seemed to be brushing her off. The customer asked really sweetly and was interested in buying something she had had recently - why not help her a bit? Miss the old brick-and-mortar. :( Will likely not be coming back.

Located in Ala Moana Shopping Center, Lanai Food Court. Grab and GO. Only went there once. The line was pretty long. Convenient way to get your dim sum. Dim sum is one of my favorite foods. But, Dim sum prices have increased. Can be pricey Tables and chairs available in food Court.

Well, now that YYK closed their sit-down restaurant on Kapiolani Blvd., this is the only place you can get their yummy dim sum. It's pricey and the quality is not as good as the restaurant (since a lot of it is made ahead of time and sitting out), but it's great if you're looking for grab-n-go dim sum in small quantities. If you're looking for high quality dim sum at Ala Moana Shopping Center, I would suggest Jade Dynasty upstairs.
