I got a call from the restaurant (I didn't mind) after I placed my order because they weren't sure if they noted it correctly... Shrimp kow with no bok choy combo, I picked up my ordered within 15 min, so they were fast and the food was hot... but I got bok choy, no egg-roll and no sweet and sour sauce... so you definitely have to check your food before you leave the restaurant.

I've gotten food from here three times and each time has been worse than the last. I tried the sesame chicken and got a container with too-sweet gloopy sauce covering overly breaded chicken. Seriously, the ratio of breading to meat was like 50-50. Every dish here comes swimming in oil or sauce, making it impossible to enjoy without straining each container to get rid of the ridiculous amounts of liquid. I'm done trying Moon Temple. It may hit the spot if you're drunkenly scanning for Chinese food, but I haven't enjoyed a single dish.

My friend had received this order and the bag was LITERALLY dripping in grease this is absolutely disgusting and how do you even give someone their food like this. Never ordering from here again that is absolutely RIDICULOUS that they can even present a customer with this. Not okay!!!! and i'm pretty sure all the "good" reviews they have are fake

The food is delicious!.Always hot and fresh. The potstickers were very good. Also very good egg rolls. I recommend Moon Temple when you have a taste for Chinese food.

A qualifier for my review, and to anyone from the south side/Evergreen Park area, my opinion is based on frequenting Lang Lee foods on 95th street and their second location in Orland Park for over 30 years. This, hands down, is the best food I've had since my first experiences at Lang Lee. Every dish has been absolutely amazing and some even better than growing up. I highly recommend this restaurants food, I can not speak to eating in house, have always carried out or delivery. I can say that when my brother comes in from out of town, a meal from here is a must. The food has always been high quality and MY expectations to food temp. for pick up and delivery have been spot on. I will have to start leaving more pictures for more dishes in the future. This review has pics of egg rolls, crab Rangoon, an order of pan fried noodles, Thai chili chicken and Thai chili shrimp. I hope you can find the pleasure that I do when you eat their food, I'd drive an hour to eat here, easily.

This evening Saturday, September 28, 2024 we had a taste for Shrimp Egg Foo Young and Shrimp Fried Rice from the Moon Temple Chinese Restaurant. Called the order in for pick- up. The lady that took the order is really nice and friendly. The restaurant looked clean. The food was ready when we got there. Last week Sunday, September 22, 2024 was the first time in a long time that I had visited the Moon Temple Chinese Restaurant. Everything was so good and fresh we wanted it again this weekend; however, there must have been a different cook today and/or different staff in the kitchen. I ordered the exact same food items which were Shrimp Egg Foo Young and Shrimp Fried Rice but this week the food wasn't as fresh and it didn't taste as good as it did last week. The Shrimp Egg Foo Young was burnt and I think the Shrimp Fried Rice had been prepared and sitting for a while because it was not freshly cooked. The Shrimp Fried Rice was kinda packed and stuck together and the temperature of the rice was room temperature it was not hot. I called the restaurant and complained about the burnt Shrimp Egg Foo Young which they replaced and I appreciate that; however, I like eating my food together. By the time we got the replaced Shrimp Egg Foo Young the Shrimp Fried Rice was really at room temperature.

This place is for shit,they tell me one hour delivery for a fried rice and egg rolls,hour and a half and still not here. They might be the closest but their not the only one. Never again

I have to say that the food there was mediocre, the sesame chicken and the curry fried rice or somewhat decent and I say so much there wasn't enough curry in the fried rice to call it. A curry fried rice is loaded with the shrimp but it's half of the rest of it was all empty with just rice and vegetables, so the people that give it four stars obviously doesn't know what good Chinese food is. I grew up in the city of Chicago visited Chinatown every weekend when I was a child moved to the suburbs found a couple of decent places, but this place I stayed at a rehab facility and ordered a couple of times it was it was pretty disappointing every time I got the food but what can I say never again hope you guys straighten up your act, sorry it's not in Chinese so you can read it. Have a good day. My mom always said be nice.
