Colder day in Chicagoland, a wonderful day for some soup! Super clean establishment. The shrimp soup was delicious. Perfect on a cold day.! A nice side of Spanish rice on the side. Service from manager JIan was horriable after explaining to to him that the service we received on the phone was horrible. Not only did Marisol had us waiting 15 min on hold hearing a whole conversation she was having she then proceeded to hang up the phone on us . I understand they get busy but don't put customers on hold for 15 minutes asking them to hold and have a whole other conversation about an order you screwed up on and then hang up! Then when asked for owner or manager Juan his tone was nonchalant like it wasn't important then proceed to say owner doesn't come I. And hard to get hold of ! Wow! Mind you this isn't the first time this place has messed up an order or given the wrong food . Staff are clueless and rude at times . No accountability.. worsed restaurant yet . Stup up your game on food preparation !

A hole-in-the-wall Mexican spot that serves large portions for its price and of good caliber. Most of the customers dined by the bar to watch live sports, which can get rowdy especially with the already loud music. Prices on the menu were outdated compared to what was printed on the bill. Tacos were $3.50 each instead of $3, and a Taco Dinner was $9.74 instead of $8.99. Choices for tacos had vegetarian-friendly options: - carne asada (skirt steak) - al pastor (guajillo marinated pork) - chorizo (Mexican sausage) - tripas (tripe) - pollo (chipotle pulled chicken) - picadillo (ground beef) - camaron (shrimp, house sauce, soy mayo) - veggie (poblano pepper, grilled onions, sour cream, green salsa) - pescado (white fish, house soy sauce, mayo) - impossible (plant based meat) ----- Taco Dinner: 3 tacos with rice and beans ($9.74). Choice of toppings were onion, cilantro, lettuce, cheese, and tomato. Add avocado for $0.50. I picked the carne asada, al pastor, and pescado tacos with all the toppings. All the tacos were unexpectedly stacked and had protein cooked to a good level of tenderness. Three bottles of hot sauces with varying heats were provided that complimented the tacos well. Both the rice and beans were decent. Combo price was great for the amount and was very filling. ----- The place is dimly lit with lots of seating spots and even a couple of retro arcade machines. A narrow strip of parking is along the outside of the side of the building.

Stopped in on an early Sunday afternoon. Not busy but a chill environment for a Sunday. (Fridays and Saturdays can be busy) Service was prompt and friendly. Drinks were good. Micheladas were delicious. Decided to eat there. Food was good. Plenty of TVs to watch sports. Will be back.

This is actually a pretty cool spot. It sort of blends in along Cermak, and it looks like every other bar. A coworker recommended it and that's how I first found out about it. Now, I've been there a few times. I like the Mexican vibe to it -music and décor; mostly younger locals but there was no shade for my "older" self. What really solidified it for me was the food. The quesadilla - get it with chicken - DELICIOUS! I even brought my husband there one night to introduce him to it all and we ordered a bunch of food and shared everything! Good vibe for an after work dinner / catch up session.

Food was so effing GOOD! Authentic, homemade like, delicious! They have Estrella , we tried the famous Michelada and a cantarito. Very taste full. The atmosphere, even though it was busy, service was fantastic . The place is very clean, friendly, it felt very laid back. Exactly what i need for an end of the work week fun date night. Can't forget the music they play everything.. from Chalino to Bad Bunny, Vicente fernandez Aniceto Molina ect... this is such a hidden gem .
