The tacos didn't quite have the char as before but it hit the spot and satisfied the cravings. Got the lengua, steak and pork. Fast and no frills.

Went for the first time with my Sister and nephews since we happened to be in the area. She had already tried this place but I hadn't. Staff was friendly. We were greeted and told we can sit where we'd like. It's a small restaurant with seating in the front and back as the kitchen is in part of the middle. They have glass where you can see the cooks making your food. They brought out complimentary chips and two salsa bottles. Not your typical salsa for chips but they were still good! Chips were warm and greasy deliciousness. I ordered the red chicken enchiladas plate with rice and beans. Everything about them was good except the sweet taste on the enchilada sauce. I had to put their regular red salsa that was brought out with the chips on them to mask the sweet flavor. Love that they have Mexican bottled coke. Waitress was attentive and the price of food was worth it. I wouldn't hesitate to come back when in the area.

All Zacatacos are not made the sameeeeeeeee! I was in Berwyn and decided to try this location. I was highly disappointed with my steak burrito. It wasn't hot and definitely didn't taste anywhere near as good as my other 10 or so experiences. From now I'll stick to what I know.

Place sucks meat not even fresh taste like warmed up food the meet is soo crunchy tacos are expensive I order tacos with cheese and they charge u 2 dollars just for cheese and it's like I tell them put the cheese on the raping paper no time cheese on the taco or onion and that's always that I order these place use to be good not anymore

I met 2 friends here for lunch today and we were greeted by a female host in Spanish. 2 of us don't speak it but lucky my other friend did. Actually the lady who brought over the chips and salsa did as well. Finally the server came over...he spoke Spanish too but quickly switched to English for us all. He was nice, friendly. Took our order which only took about 10 minutes. I had the steak taco salad which was good. The chips and salsa were good 2. Nice decor. Place was moderately busy. We thought the server would bring the check but u have to go to the counter to pay. The automatically speaking Spanish and going to counter to pay costed a star, otherwise a decent visit.

My favorite gorditas ever. The cheese and masa are what do it for me. I love coming every once in a while just for that. The service is okay, nothing amazing but nothing to complain about. It is clean and inviting enough to want to sit and eat.

Been coming here for 15+ years since they were on the west corner end of the block & can say they're the best tacos around, growing up these are my go to tacos, no idea why the rating so low, people are wild & petty because I have yet to have a taco that compare this side of the border

Zacatacos III 6212 W. Cermak Rd. Berwyn, IL 60402 I've given Zacatacos multiple chances, but after today, I won't be coming back. I ordered a steak burrito with cheese, beans, cream, cilantro, onion, and avocado. What I got felt more like a vegan burrito--loaded with everything except steak! I paid for a steak burrito, not a bean-and-cheese wrap, so where was the meat? On top of that, this is the third time I've had issues with their takeout orders. Every time, I ask for two separate orders in separate bags because they're for different people. The cashier even writes it down, yet the kitchen never follows the instructions. They rush through making orders, but what's the point of speed if the order is wrong? I'd rather wait a little longer and get my food made correctly than deal with this frustration every time. After looking at other customer reviews, it's clear that whoever owns this place doesn't care about feedback--there's not a single response from the owner to any of the reviews. That says a lot about how much they value their customers. Zacatacos seriously needs to slow down and pay attention to what customers actually order. Until then, I'm taking my business elsewhere.
