If you have the pleasure of getting the owner at the window, the customer service is great. He is so nice.. top tier customer service! If you get one of his employees, which are usually young kids who don't know the first thing about manners, you won't have such a pleasant experience. The food is hit or miss. Sometimes you will get fresh chicken and sometimes you will get old, overcooked chicken. And you better either check before you leave the window or be willing to drive back to the store because they will not honor you coming back at another time to replace the bad food they give out. It's hard to review this place because again, sometimes the experience is good and sometimes it is horrible! Dine at your own risk.

Mondays are $1 wings night, so trying to get anything else it nay not be being cooked. I made that mistake a couple of weeks ago and did not get my 2pc gir 42 mins. I write start and received times ON my receipt. The head lube person wS snippy saying it was wing night as though I should NOT have come on Monday for anything else otger than wings - sorry. Here also in yrs past custimers could receuve 1-2 Sauces with their order or buy 4 for $1. Now they charge for 1 when Popeye's Corporate says you can have 2 but anything above that at ~$0.75 ea. Otherwise the service is NORMALLY fast and efficient and operated by several family members.

You get your food quicker than any other Popeyes in the Chicagoland area. Pickup is often a breeze and they usually have chicken ready to go if walk in. Staff is cool never had an issue

They need to return to the great Service, friendly staff, excellent fresh chicken, etc that they adhered to over the past 15+ yrs and definitely before Covid-19 influenced them into addressing phone pick-up orders/delivery service resulting in walk-in customers not receiving attentive service and extended wait time for fresh chicken making them feel no longer appreciated. And dont go here behind and between evening dinner or the chicken has been under the lamps too long, and its hard and dried out. I would appreciate Popeyes showing On Their Menu boards the price per sauce(s) OVER a reasonably requested number, then as quoted On The Internet the Price per Sauce over that reasonable number. Again, years earlier this was not a problem, but having driven further in order to patronize them, then seeing such a decline in what's kept me being loyal, i have had to rethink supporting them. Conscientious businesses seek out sites where customers can voice/share and hopefully allow them to see if they are willing to be the business they were or the business they hope to match and exceed over. Successes are based on everyone reasonably supporting one another.

Ordered through the drive through......Deplorable Chicken, owner Mr. Chris if you are not familiar with frying chicken or training your workers how to appropriately fry food you need to close shop. I ordered 8 piece on (11/9/24 ) chicken red bean rice side fries my chicken first smelled like seafood was it cooked along with the shrimp in the same OIL? My chicken breast was not fresh and I was driving all day!!!! Hungry and to tired to bring it back!!!! So I called and was told I could bring it back... I am too tired to take it back. So for my inconvenience and waist of hard earned money I want people to know how your chicken was prepared and how disappointed I was spending my money on a 32$ meal that I have to THROW AWAY! Stick to what you know cause it's not frying chicken.

How is it that all of these Popeyes are ran by Indian people and the quality suck and the food nowhere tastes like the Popeyes of old. Could it be they are adding curry to the mix? I will never eat anything from Popeyes ever. 2 peices of chicken is almost 20.00. And they give you the old dried out peices and don't even fill up the large container of sizes. I fry my own chicken at least l know how's it handled. I wish they had a rating of ZERO.

Absolutely trash, go to any other location but this one. I wouldn't eat from this place if I was in the dessert and hadn't ate or drank in days. Sprite taste like sparkling water, fries smell like burnt oil, and the chicken is fall of the bone disgusting, how do u mess up Popeyes chicken, that's what Popeyes is know for. Wow

Bought some chicken on Jan. 31 2025, tasted the chicken the oil used tasted old and the chicken tasted really bad. Tossed it out.

This place should be shut down!!!!! Decided to give them another try considering it had been quite some time since I was last there, BECAUSE G MISTAKE!!! It was late when we got home and too late to cook so we decided to go to Popeyes. It was close to their closing time which should have been an indicator to me that there could be a problem. Our order was close to $30 and we should have received a credit of $29.99. First the red beans and rice was hot on top and cold in the bottom. The rice had been over cooked and the red beans had a burnt taste. The biscuits were hard ( thank goodness I didn't break any teeth) and the chicken had a old stale taste. I placed a piece in a paper towel and the grease ran through the towel. The ultimate was when I opened a piece and it was black grit all over the chicken!!! We ended up throwing away the entire box of chicken red beans with rice a d biscuits. Unfortunately they were closed and we couldn't take it back. I'm so disgusted with myself because I thought things had changed. My suggestion if you don't want food poisoning or want to waste your money STEP AWAY FROM THIS POPEYES!!!!!!
