I walked in and a at the bar on a semi-calm Wednesday night, was immediately met with a menu, basket of chips with salsa, and encouragement to find something good on the menu. Although there were no taps for draught, plenty of beer choices from plenty of places were available for pouring in the chilled pint glasses. The taco salad hit the spot, and the house made hot sauce gave an extra spice to wake the sleepiest of buds. Although a little pricey, the ambiance made it worth the extra bucks. Bartender (whose name I didn't ask) was very attentive and thankful for the compliments on the hot sauce. Made for a nice evening.

had the shrimp fajitas, they were bland honestly. The rice and fresh corn tortillas were good though! I tried my friends tamales that were amazing! Good service just wasn't crazy about my choice of food! Also, the chips & salsa were great!!

Highly recommend the frozen mango margaritas!! I'm sure the other flavors are also delicious, but the mango ones were definitely a hit with my group. Ther service was quick and it was a nice atmosphere for a dinner out.

Being from Southern CA, near the border, La Cabanita, is very authentic and delicious. The chicken enchiladas (verde style) beans and rice were very good. Chips and salsa were very fresh. Excellent service too. Very nice and clean restaurant. Anna was a great server and made everyone feel welcomed. What a find in Chicago!

Food is really good - homemade tortillas if you prefer Nice simple bar area dining, which is where I generally prefer to eat as it's more lively Lots of tequilas to choose from and margaritas Recently went out, we just wanted simple Mexican meals and decided upon tacos The shrimp tacos were great, my g-friend loves hard shell, old school tacos w ground beef, cilantro & onion - check (LOL on the hard shell idea) Also have had a number of other dishes etc and all were very good Outdoor patio is available as well Enjoy

About a year ago they raised the price of their salad and also started making the salad in the lid of the Togo container instead of the main compartment which is much bigger. A big downgrade for the consumer. Then they started skimping on lettuce. If you are going to charge $18 and completely change the size of the salad it's no bueno.

My coworker told me about this place and it is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant now!!!! The tacos was amazing with the corn tortillas and I had to Caldo De Res soup with corn tortillas and it was fantastic! I had the mango margarita and that was yummy as well. We sat outside on this wonderful 70 degrees evening and it was just a wonderful date night. I hight recommend this place for some delicious Mexican food! Yummmm!

Been to the Burr Ridge area 3 times in the last 2 years, and always love a good Mexican place. In August 2022 we visited this place twice in the 3 days we were visiting from Ohio. It was amazing! We're here last month, and also good but definitely the quality had dropped. Drinks were weak and food was just ok. In town this weekend for the Bears game and went back tonight and it will be the last. While the top shelf margaritas were super tasty and full of tequila, the waiter screwed up my order and then charged me for his error! I requested veggie enchiladas and black beans, but got refried beans. He said he'd take the plate back but I just told him he didn't need to throw it all out and just bring the black beans. We get the check and I'm charged $4 for the beans and an additional $1 because I got veggie Ed instead of meat?! Any sane person knows veggies cost an fraction of the cost of meat! He said it was because they had to grill them?? Ummm do you serve your meat raw??!!!! $20 for veggie enchiladas is ridiculous and a small scoop of rice. I need a new, authentic Mexican restaurant recommendation for our next visit. Done with this place! Staff.. if you are ever in Cincy, go to La Jaiba and see how a real Mexican restaurant does!

The food and drinks here are top tier! The service is also amazing! I Love the ceviche with quac. My fave dish has gotta be the shrimp Diablas but not tooo spicy!! It's amazing!!!! Also the michelada is delish! It's a must try! Go see Lucy she's the best!!
