Hey fellow Yelpers! I've been to this AMC theater a few times and it's always great time. Me and my boyfriend recently went on a movie date to see Karate Kid: Legends. The theater is a decent size especially considering it's in the Chicago Ridge Mall, they even had a bar in the theater which is a nice touch, concessions, and even had a lot of mini claw machines. It was really cool that AMC even had merch of their own and even from various movies as well. Movie Experience: The movie was showing in screen/theater 2 and the layout of the theater was nice. The movie in my opinion was really good and they even had a post-credit scene with both Daniel LaRusso & Johnny Lawrence. I do agree with some of the other reviews that the theater walls at least in screen/theater 2 are thin as I was hearing muffled audio from the theater next door. I'm wondering how this can be resolved. Maybe sound proofing each theater to truly get the full movie theater experience? Just my thoughts on this. Claw Machines: The claw machines are $1 per play. The claw machines don't accept bills or card, so you have to go to this machine that gives you tokens. My boyfriend spent $5 in tokens and unfortunately I didn't win anything even though some of the prizes looked gettable. Overall Experience: Overall, I had great experiences at the AMC theater in the Chicago Ridge mall. The theater was clean, easy to navigate, & the bathrooms were clean. Definitely need to go back soon and hopefully I can win me some cute plushies from their mini claw machines. I hope this review helps AMC in Chicago Ridge, IL location, AMC in general, & its current and future customers. Have an amazing day!

The staff was kind. The theater and bathrooms were clean. Some of the reclining seats didn't work and there were exposed wires on the walkway.

Still a nice theater to visit; nice and clean. Friendly workers, just a slow experience this visit. My oldest granddaughter is out of school for the summer. So we will be doing lots of fun stuff. Garfield was really nice and funny. Popcorn was good too.

Stopped by to catch Sinners as a matinee on the big screen. Fresh popcorn. clean soda area, comfortable seating and clean theater. This is a smaller theater so you could at times hear the movie next door and the lobby noise, but it wasn't too bad. I would go back if in the area.

This is the closest theatre to me but I'm going to try to go further to another one. I waited in line for 15 minutes in the a-list/premiere line for concessions and they just kept taking care of the people in the other line. The other register had freed up but some lady had just walked up and then the rest of her family came so she took forever to do her order. It was finally my turn and they just took someone who just got in line before me in the other line. I left because my movie had started. Very disappointed. Other theatres know to take the next a-list/premiere line faster. I'm only one person. I'd be faster because I knew exactly what I wanted. I only wanted a drink and popcorn. Super fast to fill. Very disappointed.

We were just there to see Wicked and had the most horrible experience. I'm in a wheelchair and they allowed regular unhandicapped persons to buy tickets for the handicapped seats. We've never encountered this and there was no way to make it down the stairs to our row. I mean WTF! They are by law supposed to leave seats open for those accompanying the person. So I was left with nowhere to go. Bright note: we did get tickets and snacks refunded!

Overall the screen is smaller then the one in Crestwood. Probably because the theater room in Chicago Ridge was built longer vs wider. But, the theater was clean and we didn't have any problems.

Went with friends to see Oppenheimer. Screen was tiny like what you would have at home if you bought a home projector. The colors were very flat as if they increased the brightness way up and it lacked contrast. The black colors were washed out so I know they used outdated tech projector. I couldn't stand it so I walked out of the theater and mentioned to the employee that this image is not right. She called the manager to go look at the screen. She also told me to wait by the bar. I saw the manager finish what he was doing and then go into the theater room. Then he went into his office. After waiting, I went back to the employee to ask if I should continue to keep waiting and she told me the issue has beed fixed. I went back to watch the movie and saw nothing changed so I kept watching even though it was very distracting because what else could I do? After the movie, I went to speak to a different employe and both the assistant manager and Manager Paul. They were patient to hear me out but told me that because I sat through the movie, they couldn't do anything for me and that all their projectors are good and the screen size is the standard screen size in all AMC theaters. There is no way this is true. I had AMC A List and have been to many AMC theaters. This screen was unreal. Tiny and horrible color quality. I asken the manager if he could provide the size of screen and which projector they used. Manager declined to provide this information. I never complained about a movie at a movie theater in my life but this theater is something else and the prices are the same as around downtown. Avoid this outdated movie experience.

Everything including the app and AMC Stubs. I purchased tickets last week June 22nd to see Bad Boys: Ride or Die for my family. Unfortunately I had to refund those 3 tickets ($49)immediately due to an emergency. It befuddles me to know that as quickly as the money has been transferred to the merchant, why does it take so long for a refund. Today is June 29 and I have yet to receive the refund that I requested a week ago. And as for the app, I'm assuming the $6.77 was for a convenience fee. I will now be getting rid of my AMC app and account along with my AMC stubs account and going with Fandango app. The convenience is OK but policies are not OK. To whom ever reads this, this is what you will experience if you go through AMC Theatre's or Stubs. Very confusing.
