I have been here with different people 3 times, different days and different times, and have never been disappointed, neither were any of my pals . It's never crowded ,and I don't get why , as the food is very good and will not disappoint. We have ordered different items on the menu, so far , it's been great , including the signature drinks . One drink in particular was very yummy, Burnt pear Margarita??? Our friend ordered it , after we tasted his, we each ordered one . I could go on and on, pretty restaurant, nice ambiance, great drinks and variety to please all, and delicious food very reasonably priced , without driving to Gold Coast , Orland or Oakbrook!!!! So, where is everyone? I'd rather give my business to local eateries , than franchises, which are just carbon copies of each other . People, if you're looking for good food drinks and appropriate prices , TRY THIS PLACE OUT ! BTW , the bathrooms are immaculate, I always draw a parallel between bathrooms and kitchen . If the bathrooms are immaculate, then so will the kitchen . ( chefs and customers often use this a proxy for overall restaurant cleanliness.) It would be a shame to pass this gem up , without a try .

One of our favorite hangout spots!! My husband and I love to come spend some quality time on their rooftop and have a nice meal and good drinks. Not only is their staff super friendly *shout out to Ted who worked his butt off* but the view and vibe in the roof top makes me feel like we are 10000 miles away from home. By now my husband and I have literally tried everything on the menu and I can say without a doubt there really isn't a menu item we don't like. Highly recommend coming the check them out!

HMD restaurant is a amazing restaurant with delicious food and outstanding tomato bisque soup. Kudos to the staff who are all friendly and positive, and a big shout out to Maricel, the chef, for the amazing food choices. Thank you also to Cassie who went above and beyond to make sure I got my soup and absolutely made my day. I will be a customer there a lot more. Close to home, comfort food, excellent atmosphere, and decent prices. Can't wait to taste breakfast! Back again tonight and one again not disappointed. First time visit today and my only regret is not coming sooner during the summer! The rooftop was beautiful. Excellent, attentive service and the food was delicious. We lucked out and were able to order from the 'Happy Hour' menu on a Sunday due to the Bears game. I will definitely be back. I would love to host a party here, too.

I used to go to Burger Station down the street but they closed not too long after covid so I was willing to try a new place. I remember when HMD was an old Irish pub but after they rebranded and improved the food I was willing to give it another try. It's pretty nice with decent music and happy hour specials. My mom loves their burgers. I love the wide selection of beers on tap. They also have slot machines if anybody likes gaming.

Food was amazing, fresh and great flavor. Service was quick and came by often so I ordered more food and drinks! Great ambiance to come in by yourself or fam. They have plenty of seating!

Overall - Really happy but some things I would not order again - here goes... The Cadillac Margaritas are FABULOUS - definitely a winner - super tasty Calamari Fritti appetizer was tasty but the portion was small for $14 Onion Rings and French Fries were very good, not greasy and a nice crunch HMD Burger was delicious - went with the 8oz done medium Steak Sandwich (medium rare) was tender and OH OH Tasty. Stayed "together" when eaten and the ciabatta bread held up and was fresh. The Wild Mushroom Melange was super small, not worth $10 and not recommended. Service was great, decor was nice, bathrooms were clean

Decent spot with a nice ambiance, perfect for grabbing a drink. The drink prices are reasonable, but the food was a bit underwhelming. The risotto lacked flavor, and the fries were limp and seemed undercooked. The burger was just okay, and the cheese curds were a small portion. Overall, a good place to hang out for drinks, but the food could use some improvement.
