I love that AMC does Ghibli Fest every year! Finally watched My Neighbor Totoro, and having the standard movie theater experience made it very enjoyable. Check online for showtimes, they rotate the movies each year and only show them for a few days throughout the year. Parking was a breeze, and you can get a great view of the skyline and of the retail area. The movie finished around sunset so we got to soak in the gorgeous views! Validated parking is $2 for 3 hours. Concessions are typical price for big box movies, $15 beer hits better in a theater I suppose. They had a couple Hazy IPAs on draft and the bartender was really friendly. The seats are the old cushion seats (not the newer reclining leather seats like in some AMCs). It was comfortable enough and clean as those types of seats can be. Usually I expect the movie theater to blast AC but it was actually quite warm inside. There was a note on the ticket that said trailers are 25-30 minutes long. However for this showing they started the intro credits about 8 minutes after the listed showtime. They had multiple gender neutral restrooms (single stalls) which were clean. While the seats weren't the most up to date, I would still go back! They have a deal for 50% off tickets on Tuesday and Wednesday which is pretty good, if you become a free member (Ghibli movie was excluded). Also 50% off small combos Tues/Wed with member QR code.

I got chicken tenders and pretzel bites in between screenings at Chicago International Film Festival. Solid concession food compared to other places.

The theater was very clean and the bathrooms were also very clean. The popcorn was buttered and salted and didn't need extra which was a nice surprise. The seats are not reclining or heated and basic but still were very comfortable and cushioned. It was a little cold so if you are cold easily, bring a sweater. Parking can be validated for a discount so keep that in mind.

Was invited to a movie screening and it was really good with some great actors! My boyfriend and I enjoyed ourselves since we hadn't been to the movies in a long time. We had popcorn, candy, and 2 slushies of course! Loved it and missed being in a theater. They have free drink and slushie refills which is ALWAYS a plus!

Went for Heads of State screener and it was awesome, popcorn was great as always, snacks a bit pricey but you'll enjoy the movie experience more. Definitely come with friends and family and have a memorable night.

Average theater. Nothing special. Seats don't recline, that's a little annoying. Service was friendly. the original line getting in was crazy long. Not a fan of the prices. Went on a Wednesday night and spent 100 bucks just for a couple drinks, tickets and popcorn.

This is my go-to theater whenever I'm in Chicago. It's conveniently located a short walk from the North and Clybourn L stop. I recently came here to see Wicked and was satisfied with how well-kept and clean the theater is. The staff is friendly at the ticket check-in and at the concession counter. The theater has ranging room sizes depending on the movie and showtime you choose. For a standard movie experience, this is definitely the place to go. While the seats don't recline like some in newer theaters, as long as you choose the right seat, it shouldn't be an issue for an enjoyable view. Ticket prices are a bit higher compared to other theaters, but they offer discounted tickets on certain days of the week. You can also join their AMC Stubs membership to get additional perks.

We are members of the A list. So we stood in that line to buy our snacks. We had to waited over 10 minutes while the only attendant served 3 other customers in the regular line. She saw us but was never acknowledged. Bathrooms are not clean and not all soap dispensers have soap.

We went to see the new Jennifer Lopez movie Unstoppable that was playing at the Chicago Film Festival. I usually go to the movies in the suburbs so this was my time at this location. The Chi Film Fest staff were helpful and friendly. We were able to enter (scan tickets) with ease and buy snacks. We bought popcorn, soda and twizzlers. There was only one other person in line so it was quick. I went to the restroom before the movie started and was pleased to find it very clean. The movie wasn't sold out so there were plenty of seats. The chairs are a bit worn but they are huge and comfortable. The temperature was perfect and there weren't any issues with the picture or sound of the movie. Overall, the experience turned out to be pleasant. I'd visit this theatre again if the opportunity presented itself.
