Some other review stated "I think the promo videos hyped it up for me A LOT to say the least. It says it's a 60-90 min thing, however the whole tour took 20-25 min. I was expecting more artwork however it was very small and a quick tour." I agree with this statement and will add that the idea of the concept of "Immersive" is not accurate. I attended the Van Gogh Immersive in February 2021, was expecting similar experience -- to be surrounded by murals, walls, floor, celling --- not that experience. Some pieces were interactive, which was unique and fun. Other were not particular impressive at there was too much daylight coming through the windows -- they would have benefit from having window coverings. Overall it was below average.

If I'm not mistaken, I saw this event on Facebook and bought tickets through the Fever app, although Artopia has its own website as well. I am so happy I did this. It was a cool event. Lots of interesting things to look at and great photo taking opportunities for your social media pages. They respected COVID distancing / masking and it was not crowded in that they spaced out the people / scheduled times very well. I don't want to spoil it, so I will only put a few photos up. If you like art and want to support something safe and fun to do during these strange times, this is a great event. Yes, maybe a little "pricey" for some, given it's about an hour, but we are not going out / spending money during the pandemic so I figure people need to make a living. Money is going to support the folks putting on these events. Good times! Highly recommended.

What a great experience! We had such an amazing time! Staff was super friendly and made our visit even better. Damian, Renata and Amy definitely went above and beyond. Glad we got tickets before it ended!!!

My boyfriend and I love art so I saw this Immersive Art Experience posted on Facebook and it looked so cool. I wish this was a Groupon Special because $40 was $30 too much. It felt more like an Arts and Craft Community College exhibit with all the paper mache and neon paint you desire. The Artistic Director must have hired the Dollar Tree to enhance the space because there were cheap green leafy vines all over the place, even on the art. I'm not joking....ALL. OVER. I love supporting local artist but I felt this was a huge let-down for the price. In fact, we went to the WNDR museum right after for $30 and were blown away. Shoot, we could have gotten into the Art Institute and saw masterpieces for $25. I think the $40 ticket went to pay for the staff/security because they were top-notch and really pushed you into going upstairs to see the local artist gallery where paintings on average were $8,000-$14,000. Nonetheless, security kept things moving along and no one wandered. Meh. Save your money or make a donation to your local artist guild.

We had a great time at Artopia and appreciated the uniqueness of the exhibits and the interactiveness of much of the art. We went with a group of friends with the goal of engaging in a different type of activity while having some fun.

I wish I could offer a better review. My expectations going into this were realistic, but it was a complete disappointment for the money. I spent $160 to take my husband and two daughters. I've seen more immersive art at a grade school art fair. Many of the exhibits were plastic flowers secured to a metal structure and you walk inside. There was one exhibit which was heat sensitive and that was the only cool thing. It took less than 20 minutes and it would've been more fun to drive around the city and take pictures in front of free murals and spend the $160 on a nice meal. Don't waste your money!
