The rooms are nice but there are things in the room that are defective especially the "surround sound" didn't work in room 101 as well as burn holes in the furniture which I saw in both room 101 and 129. I paid over $1000 for a two night stay here ... no worries I'm used to that for a nice place but the customer service here sucks ... when I asked for the names of the front desk staff they said their names were Crystal and Rori. Both of their attitudes are snotty but Rori is flat out rude . And after purchasing a few adult toys from the hotels lobby one of them broke in the middle of the night when we opened it .. I texted the guest service number I had been using to communicate with the hotel shortly after And they said they would notify the front desk so that I could get a refund only for me to get down there and Rori to advise I should have called the front desk instead of texting guest services and since they have no knowledge of it (although I showed him the text messages ) he said oh well it's nothing he could do after I spent the money I could have spent at sybaris that has a pool and awesome customer service. I was at sybaris for a week and decided to stay here for two days following Sybaris for my anniversary.. it was a bad idea I should have stayed at Sybaris . I will never come back Here and I'm waiting for contact info for corporate. I just checked out at 5pm today .

I keep a membership here because I absolutely love this place. Hot tub jets are nice and strong. Bed is sooooo comfortable. Very clean. Love love love this place!

the idea of a fun night out at an upscale sexy hotel sounded great. the pics looked good but we arrived to a poorly put together motel with some lights and sex beds. we were completely turned off and left immediately. dirty. poorly kept. staff was very friendly

It's a very cozy atmosphere. Dark walls, fireplace, some rooms have very tastefully placed mirrors on the ceiling (blushing) it was a great experience

A must go to place in Chicago! The room alone was a vibe that every couple needs to experience. I enjoyed the intimate time that occured, no interruptions, an adult only location, privacy and simply a nice place to go and getaway from all the noise that is around you in everyday life. I would strongly recommend couples to go at least once a year. The membership alone is a great small investment.

Unfortunately, due to this COVID bullshit we missed my fiance's 40th Bday bash in NY so we were stuck here at home. Trying to think outside of the box with limited options I found out Axis was still open. THANK GOD!!!!! I booked the best room available the Lush for an overnight stay to surprise my babe and when I tell you HE LOVED IT, He was sooooo surprised something was even open. Man they saved the day! It was very romantic and perfect for us we loved it. I'll definitely be back. Comparable to Ambiance & Aura. Axis is the shit!!!!

I enjoyed my stay here with my partner and had an amazing time. The room was amazing, the spa bath was nice and big, as well as the shower. The only bad thing I can say about this place is that you can only stay one night, but I think that makes the experience better.

So I've stayed at 3 different suites and I wanted to have a extra long stay so I paid for a 4 hour stay in addition to my overnight stay so I was charged 639$ there was supposed to be a dance pole in our room well there was but it was loose pulled up out of the floor it wasn't secured to the ceiling so it wasn't able to be used out hot tub was dirty it had black stuff in it I recommend taking bleach and cleaning the hot tub yourself

It all started with a tragedy! The city making repairs to the sewer & water lines in front of my house which caused my home to be without water for a couple of days. Instead of going to a traditional hotel I decided to book a room at the Axis for me & the Mrs. WOW! Is the least I can say! Customer service was great! (Kudos to Cynthia!) The room was modern & clean! The Champaign & chocolate covered strawberries added a nice touch! Needless to say - the Mrs was very surprised & happy. Which of course turned out favorable for me!
