-Walking distance from home -My neighbor and her mother are the bartenders, they are too cute for words -fantastic service and great beers on tap. This is what I call a fantastic Local Watering Hole.

Sadly, I need to bring down the stars for Babe's. If you play songs on the jukebox that the owner doesn't like or that a regular doesn't like, he will take over and play other music until it reverts back to the music on the TVs. I will continue to patronize Babe's but if they want more people then they need to be more flexible than the norm.

Cheap drinks are the best thing about this bar. It doesn't have that much else worth saying about it. Babe's is a place for the locals around here. Good if looking for any cheap beer or basic liquors. The bar has a few TVs for watching games or whatever. A few good cheap drinks. It had $3.50 PBR on draft the last time here. There's not much of a draft selection. A lot more is available in bottles and cans. There's a few local crafts along with the big corporate ones. Just not a whole lot to be honest. The liquor selection isn't that good either but at least it has pretty good prices. Basic dive bar. It's nothing at all fancy. They also may have pizza but it's probably best not to get any though.

It's okay. Just okay. If you are at Tone Deaf, shopping for records, stop in for a pint. Otherwise, this is not a destination. It's just a run of the mill bar, and not all that special.

This is a dive bar and we didn't have high expectations, but Babes does not disappoint! In fact, the inside of the bar is pretty cute with hanging lights and fun decor on the walls. They offer chips and light snacks and all of the patrons are friendly and welcoming. Service is quick and drinks are well priced. While this isn't in our local area, we'll definitely return to this bar when we're nearby!
