good eats. bbq chicken pizza was immaculate. service was quick, little weird that there was a tv in the dining room with them live making the food.. but go off i guess. decor was cool.

I ordered off of Uber eats at 11:30-11:55pm. It said it would take about 30 minutes for my pizza to be delivered by an in house delivery guy. I waited over an hour. When I called for an update he told me 20 more minutes the driver just left. That was 45 minutes after the original time to be delivered. I called again at 1:10 am and was told a couple more minute, the driver was almost to my location. I waited in the lobby of my hotel and after 10 more minutes went back to my room. as soon as I got to my room my food arrived. My pizza was cold and my drinks were warm. Crazy part...at 3:30 in the morning the phone calls started. I received 5 from the restaurant number and after I blocked it 1 from a different Chicago based number. After I blocked that number I got a text message from an email stating "The Son of a B!tch". I would say that not how you handle customer service.

Average pizza, prices are way too high, we're talking $20 bucks for a small that is dominoes quality at best, Even with Chicago prices that ain't it. Have ordered delivery and been forced to Venmo the driver for a "cancelled" order. Not worth it, there's a Pizza Hut and a dominos a block away, and better local pizza across the street

Broadway Pizza also operates under the umbrella of pasta Italia. Twice now, I tried to order from them and had a beyond horrible experience. The first time the order took almost 2 hours to be delivered and was ice cold. I gave them a second chance and had a worse experience, and then they tried to commit fraud by claiming my order had been delivered, and the GrubHub tracking was not working per them. I did get a full credit, but they tried to scam me. Maybe you can order and pick up, but delivery through any kind of app I would avoid without fail. Zero stars!

Food is excellent. Service is probably the worst in Chicago....If you ever Doordash, your order can possibly be anywhere from 2-4 hours late...I still order from there because most likely I'm going to get my money back......I literally will cancel and then have to wake up in the middle of the night to a delivery, because that's how terrible their mamanagement is. Great food but a 40/60 roll of the dice with service

We arrived late one evening to grab a bite to eat and unwind. I want to mention that it was a cool summer night. I'm unsure why they had the door and all the windows open. While waiting for our food, we were swarmed by bugs and mosquitoes. The staff watched us being attacked and didn't try to address the issue; I even saw one of them chuckle. I had to wait outside for my food because it was terrible. The bugs were all over us and our table. Another thing to mention is that the bathroom was gross, with stuff all over the toilet. I wish I could rate this on the food alone, but the service was horrible. 0 stars

Adjusted review to respond to the owners comments on google maps. As a customer every couple weeks for the last year, I've accrued a free pizza using the ordering platform of the restaurant - Slice. When I went to redeem it the company Broadway Pizza contracts with - Slice - did not have it on file and refuses to restore it. As Broadway Pizza owns the experience from ordering to pickup, they get the one-star review. I have spoke to Slice and they are unhelpful, and as this is how one orders from Broadway Pizza, I can not in good conscience recommend ordering from them. If they switch to, say, Toast, I'll be happy to order again and revisit my review.

I'm glad that there's a great new pizza spot in Lakeview East that offers something a little different from the usual tavern-style or Neapolitan-style options around here. I ordered a medium build your own with mushrooms, and it was delicious - I love the crispy, yet pillowy-soft crust and flavor of the sauce, and I can tell they use high quality cheese and toppings with how flavorful everything is. Staff is very friendly too! Highly recommend this place.

We were in town for a Christmas party. We ordered our food and unfortunately too 2-3 hours before getting to us. The food did still come hot and was delicious. The person over the phone apologized and reassured us the food was in route.

Got takeout and the pizza is very average. Staff was very kind. But the ambiance of the restaurant is also very average and with other pizza spots with more personality around the neighborhood I worry they won't be able to pull in customers. For the price, I don't think the pizza was worth it, unfortunately. I hope they find their groove!
