My personal favorite here is the Southside hoagie with corned beef--I crave it all the time! I've also tried the wagyu beef hot dog (it was okay) and the regular hoagie, but the Southside is the standout. The shop is always very clean, and I really like that you can watch them prepare your food right in front of you. The only downsides are that they sometimes sell out if you come too late, parking can be tricky since it's on a busy block, and you can't call in orders ahead of time. It does get crowded at times, but that just shows how popular it is. Overall, I'm glad this spot is in the neighborhood and I hope they continue to grow and have lots of success!

Finally got to try this establishment. I was in the area getting a haircut and was very hungry. I researched nearby eateries and saw this was only a few block away from Sola Suites. Anyway, very clean shop. Service was friendly. I ended up ordering the Hoagie sampler which allows you to pick (3) different hoagies which are 4 inches. They wrap the hoagies individually and then place them in a container together. My hoagie also came with a small individual serving of chips. I ordered this with it in mind that I would give my husband one of the hoagies. Timing wasn't too long between order and the to-go being ready. I ate my first hoagie in the car on my ride back to the home. It wasn't messy and was deliciously seasoned with condiments. I believe it was the corn beef. Yum. We also enjoyed turkey ham and turkey hoagie. The bread was just right not too soft and not too tough. However it held up with the Italian seasoning applied to the fresh veggies. All-in all, enjoyed my hoagies. If in the area again, would try the Italian beef or one of the panini. I had a solid hour drive home so I didn't think those would hold up in the car or be easy to eat in the car. I did. Like that that they had a tuna melt and those are my jam.

My team and I ordered lunch from here today. My boss picked up our order, and she said this place is small but clean. Service was good and staff is professional. My coworker and I ordered the Claire's chicken panini, and my boss ordered the hoagie flight. Sandwiches come with chips. We thought our paninis were okay. My boss liked the turkey hoagie, but the turkey ham hoagie was a bit tart for her taste. She hasn't tried the corned beef hoagie yet.

I finally got to check out Bronzeville Hoagie and Panini and I have to say that I wasn't disappointed. Walking in there was so much character. They have a black and white wall full of the greatest!! There is a nice amount of space considering it's a smaller spot. There is seating available but it's limited. I ordered the lunch special that consisted of a 6 inch hoagie and come with chips and a canned pop or water. The lunch special is available Monday thru Friday from 11am to 1pm. Don't miss out, go check it out now!

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and we finally had some time between my son's football and swimming. We ended up getting the 35th Street, the corned beef panini and the chipotle chicken panini. They were all delicious. My wife says she wishes they would have mayo on the 35th. The corned beef panini tasted like it may have been a corned turkey product. The chicken panini was probably our favorite. It was seasoned well as had a little spice with a good smoky flavor. Each sandwich comes with chips which is nice. The interior is small with a few tables. While a few people ate there most were taking their orders to go. If you do choose to order from here make sure you have a little bit of bit of time. They make everything fresh and it will take a little time especially if they're busy. It's well worth the wait though. I love that they had the walls full of important black figures. They had Enny blasting on one TV and House party playing on the other. That should let you know what the vibes are here. We'll definitely be back to try some of their other offerings.

Convenient location, close to expressway, and nice decor inside with a wall of cool black and white photos. The person who took my order was pleasant. He told me it would take about ten minutes for my sandwich - it took a little more time but no problem. I had the chicken panini. All the sandwiches come with lays plain chips. My panini was just ok. There wasn't enough cheese to congeal the sandwich bread together to make it a proper panini. The chicken and peppers just slid through the bread which made it hard to eat. Also this sandwich was only chopped chicken, grilled onions and barely cooked green peppers and a lot of chipotle mayo, pretty basic. I'd try something else next time if I go back.

This is not in my neighborhood but was worth the venture. The owner is so friendly & welcoming: had the 35th street hoagie and added mayo.. it was delicious!!! I love a saucey sandwich so this hit for me. The bread shockingly held up to all the oil and you could tell the turkey was fresh carved.. not your usual slimy deli meat . Highly recommend. Would like to try a panini from there next time

This is a cute sandwich shop in Bronzeville. The decor was a nice touch as it highlighted historical black figures. I ordered the salmon panini and a side of tuna. The panini was a great size with plenty of salmon. It was good, and I will try it again. The only issue was that one side of my bread was very burnt and I had to remove it. The other side was nice and buttery, so the panini press could just need to be scraped or something. The tuna was delicious, and it was made the way I like my tuna salad. I do think the onions should have been diced, but I like onions so it was fine for me. Also, they don't have cheddar cheese, and I kinda feel that's a standard cheese for a sandwich shop. That could just be my preference, though. The service was very friendly, and I look forward to returning!

Love this relatively new south side counter service sandwich shop! Extremely friendly staff. Few tables available for casual dining in - most orders carry out. LOVE the turkey hoagie with hoagie juice! Yum! Salmon is also delicious and something unique. No problem recommending this business!

I heard about this spot and was very eager to try it. The customer service I received from owner Tiffany was superb however and young lady replaced her at the time of my order and the shift was extremely evident. She immediately turned my experience upside down with her poor customer service. Now to the food... The hoagie was delicious. The wagyu sausage presentation was disappointing as well as the taste. The bread was super chewy and almost tasted stale. The salmon panini was also disappointing with stale bread. Not sure if it was overcooked but definitely not palatable.
