Stayed at Sheraton for a conference. Perfect choice coz the Chibar is super chill. Lovely service at Chibar!!! Sara our fantastic server and Phil super cool bartender! What a great way to end the day!!! Thank you!

This is the bar in the lobby of the Sheraton Riverwalk. There is plenty of seating, and the wait-staff is extremely attentive. They can make virtually any cocktail you can think of, and have a number of signature cocktails that are very good. also a great wine list and several beers on tap. They have a very limited number of food items, most of which are snacks.

Stopped for drinks after a conference. My mixed vodka cocktail was great but with an exorbitant price ($18 for craft cocktail). The service was decent though a bit slow. The atmosphere is very loud when there are more than a few people and the space is open to the conference center so that sound travels. The bar area is quite dark. Seating is plentiful and comfortable.

Chi Bar is the primary hotel lounge style bar in the lobby level of the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. Like every other food and beverage establishment located in this hotel, the prices are through the roof for food and drink. I came in here a couple of times to quaff a few Ales. I tried three different Ales: - Brickstone Pale Ale, 6.25% ABV (Brickstone Brewery, Bourbonnais, IL) - Anti-Hero IPA, 6.5% ABV (Revolution Brewing Co., Chicago, IL) - 2XIPA, 8.2% ABV (Southern Tier Brewing Co., Lakewood, NY) All three Ales were pretty good, but I have to say I enjoyed 2XIPA the most - it is an Imperial IPA/Double IPA. Nice piney, resiny flavor, with notes of citrus and a bitter finish. I also had a burger and fries one evening. $20 for a burger and chips. Ridiculous. The burger was tasty. Service was pretty good. For the prices they charge, it had damn well better be.

Cool bar within the Sheraton. Great stained glass views of the river and the city. Full selection of drinks, only one local beer, but some great pizzas. Get the one with the avacados, tomatoes and shell fish... Brilliant. I like my pizza paper thin and crispy and that's now they do it. It doesn't fit in for Chicago, in my mind, but whatever.

This is a decent hotel bar with good cocktails, but in the city of Chicago, there are so many better options. The bartenders are good and know their drinks, like a lemon drop, but the crowd is eclectic and mainly made up of hotel guest and it's not a destination bar. That being said, there's something about having a quick cocktail and taking the elevator right up to your room that will always be appealing.

Chi Bar is located in the back of the lobby of the Sheraton. The decor is dark and a little modern, and they play lounge music (think Hotel Costes). They have some tables, couches, and tables with big comfy chairs. The bar overlooks the Chicago river, which is beautiful at night. It's very chill, and the tourists that stay there seem to behave themselves at the bar. You'll see all kinds of people - businesspeople, tourists, and locals in all kinds of clothes (from business - to jeans - to trying to impress). The place doesn't get packed, so it's a nice place to escape with some long lost friends and chat while drinking some good martinis. There is no cover. Prices are normal for a hotel bar (expect high). A cocktail waitress will serve your table. Their drink menu is good - wonderful martinis (I like the "Razz" which has raspberry puree in it!), scotch, port, cognac, and some wines. Their food menu has been getting smaller - their website shows more food than they currently offer. But their flat breads are good, their wings are very spicy, and they have a pretty good dessert flight which is desserts in several small port glasses.

This is an elegant hotel bar, and the food and drinks look wonderful. I can't say how they taste, because I have been sitting at a table in the bar area for 25 minutes, and haven't even been greeted by a staff member yet. My friend went up to the bar for a drink a minute ago and the bartenders just ignored her. There are so many great places to go around here, so don't waste your time at this place.

3 Stars... and I'm being generous, because the manager/bartender was generous enough to give us our drinks for free since it literally took them 45 minutes to make and deliver 5 martinis. Yeah. I know. And there were only 8 other people in this bar. Not to mention, I don't think they serve a drink under twelve bucks. I don't know about you, but I know I certainly can't afford a night out with the girls at that rate!

Two stars - "Meh. I've experienced better" Yes, that says it all. Here's why. I met a friend there who was in for a convention - got there around 10:30 or so. The waitress asked me if I wanted anything to drink - I told her I was thinking about what "flavor" I wanted. Well not only did that go over her head, but her approach on getting my order had more of the attitude of, "are you going to order or what". The bar there was pretty busy - mostly filled with people there for a conference and on expense accounts. I ended up ordering a Heineken. The place was making money hand over fist and I'm sure the employees were doing pretty well too. I had another beer - my friend was picking up most of the drinks at the table. As it approached midnight, the tabs were distributed. We were a little slow to pay - we were talking and enjoying the night amongst the six of us or so. The waitress comes by again and pushes us to pay - "we're going home" was the way she put it. She then cleared some of pour table - including both the bottles of Heineken I had ordered - one still had some beer in it. OK, at the end of a shift, I can empathize with someone wanting to go home - I'm no different that way. But I really thought that the obligatory smile and polite attitude that the waitress offered was one of the phoniest ones I've ever seen. And with that type of a group staying at the hotel - why wouldn't management have some kind of arrangement to extend the hospitality for maybe a half an hour or so - I'm not talking liquor service per se, just one trailing waitress with the capability to be hospitable and sincerely friendly at night's end. This wasn't a licensing issue - I'm sure that bar can go until 2AM, so they were well within it. There were at least 30 people in that bar at "close".
