Simply good value and decent taste. Very flavorful and not bland; no soy sauce needed. Packed tidily and everything is clean, fresh, and hot.

It's unfortunate but a restaurant that was good for quite some time has really fallen off the rails. The 2 previous times I ordered from this restaurant the food made me sick. I stopped ordering from them for about 6 months and then decided to give them a try to see if they corrected the ship. But NOPE. I didn't even get the chance to find out. After waiting for over an hour the food was never delivered. So it's back to searching for a Chinese restaurant that isn't trying to poison me and at the very least actually delivers the food. My advice, STAY AWAY!!!

I ordered online - it said the food would be delivered 1 hour after ordering. After an hour and a half, I called for an update - when asking, I was cut off mid-sentence for them to say my food would be delivered any minute. Another half hour went by, and my food arrived (2 hours after ordering). Was not impressed by the customer service, and the food was cold/didn't have much flavor.

Usually we like the food quite well, but it does tend to--for me--be under-spiced. This last time was particularly bad. I ordered the Yu Shan beef, which is listed on the menu as "spicy". I ordered it "Very spicy". Not only did it not come *very* spicy, but even if it came with the normal preparation, it didn't deserve the term "spicy" from the menu. I would have fed to an infant. So incredibly bland. I called and they apologized and offered to remake it, but I just couldn't go back right then. They said they'd make it up on my next order. We'll see.

Just got my order and it was wrong again spoke w a girl who was So Rude it's the only place I order from but Not anymore if this is the kind of person that represents Their business weather it's family or just a employee there is No reason for the rudeness from her so no more ordering from them never have I had any problems before tonight

This used to be my go to when I first moved to RP some twenty+ years ago. They are clearly under new management in recent years because the quality of food has significantly diminished. There is no difference between some of the sauces in their chicken dishes and the beef is always quite fatty.

Well, I hate to say this, I ordered the Beef chow fun and I was very surprised it wasn't very good this time. It did not taste the same as I've had it before. Nothing more to say about it. The rest of our order was also a bit strange I had Mongolian chicken I expected the sauce to be brown and it was reddish it also wasn't very good. The fried rice was really good though. So maybe they were just having an off night. The service is always on point very nice and respectful. I have never eaten in the restaurant. I think they play soft music and it's usually empty most of the time so I can't really speak to the ambiance. I think it would be a good place to dine in. I'll give them two stars this time. I'll go back and give them another opportunity to win my patronage back.

First time here and I'm unsure if it will also be the last. It's not a place I would call good, but it's still better than lots of Chinese restaurants. China Gourmet is actually a lie because this certainly isn't anything gourmet. Pretty much a basic Chinese American menu. There's also a lack of basic items such as tofu for the choices of protein. Came in to get carryout. I was looking for something cheap and for sure got that from here. The prices are among the cheapest in town. After eating from here it's easy to see why, because it's far from the best. It's about $6 for an entree. These are also pretty big portions. A strange thing is the vegetarian choices. There's nothing that has any tofu. I got the Szechuan Broccoli. This had a pretty hot spice. Good place for those just wanting cheap Chinese food. It's nothing at all special. They currently only have takeout.

We ordered delivery to our AirB&B, and that was the best part of the meal...the delivery. I ordered the beef and broccoli and ate the carrots and broccoli as the beef had a mushy rubbery texture to it. My son ordered the orange chicken, same problem. My daughter ordered the fried rice with shrimp and couldn't eat it, it was so bad. My wife ordered shrimp pad tai noodles, and this was the worst of the lot unless you enjoy a pinkish glow to your dish and raw like peanuts. The crab Rangoon was meh. The pan-fried potstickers were not edible.
