Me and my boyfriend went to this Nightclub the Friday after New Years. It was College Night and it was the first time I was ever there (and have ever been to a club). There was a dress code to an extent. You had to be casual- nice. And they checked for ID's at the door to make sure no one under the age of 21 was able to get drinks by marking our hands. Yes, I am only 19 and this is an 18+ club. They played some Latin songs in the beginning on the main floor but eventually it sounding like a club with all the remixes. Everyone handled themselves really well too. There were no fights and I saw no drugs. ALSO, they did door checks. And had a female there to check the women and a guy there to check the men. It is a well ran club.The neighborhood is a little shady but with all the security around I felt safe. There are three different rooms but the main floor I felt was the best place to be. One room was all Latin music, another was like your top 40 songs and the main floor had all the remixes. Overall, my experience was great! Just the neighborhood it was in was a little shady outside of the 'downtown' strip that the club is located in. But it's well lit outside of it so it's not like you're walking into any dark alleys or anything.

I had came here Friday night only because my younger cousin wanted to go dancing. Horrible. IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 21 YOU STILL SHOULD NOT ATTEND THIS PLACE. Very rude, costumer service was disgusting. Usually they have a smoking section, but because it was closed I stepped outside by the bouncers, next thing you know I'm told I am not allowed to re-enter... well there goes my cover ($20 even for girls). I called and asked to speak to the manager and they took my phone number and manager never called. WHO IS MANAGING THIS PLACE?? Bouncer Jonathan was a great help, really tried to better the situation. Other bouncers hmmm Let's just say if this place wants to do better business I think they need to start off in hiring a manager, then maybe some bouncers who care about the business of the club instead of telling the customers to fuck off. Yikes!!

I would give this shit hole a 0 star if I could. we got there 2 mins after 11 and would not let us in for free they charged us a bogus ass 20$ fee. Once we got in the DJ was complete trash playing the same damn 3 songs on repeat the entire night. and as if it couldn't get any worse the bartenders didn't have a single fuckin clue what they were doing. they couldn't even make A VEGAS BOMB correctly and at the end of the night they made me pay for drinks that I NEVER EVEN HAD cuz apparently they don't know how to keep track of fuckin tabs. Everyone in this establishment is a moron and completely helpless. DONT EVER WASTE YOUR TIME HERE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Pissed I even wasted a dime there.

First off, they do have a dress code, you can't be walking in there with 'sneakers or tenis". I think this nightclub is perfect whether you go with your partner or a group of people. There's some clubs that have a really strict dress code, but Volkan is great if you want to go dressed your own way. I've celebrated birthdays here and one bachelorette party, and once we even dressed up with colorful wigs and it was really wild and other people enjoyed dancing with me and the group of girls I went. The bouncers and the guys in the parking lot are really friendly and very nice. They have a variety of music. ::PROS:: - 3 dance floors - poles (if your fun enough to dance up there) - variety of music; banda, merengue, salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, hip-hip and rock en español - friendly bartenders - bouncers are very friendly - open 'til 3 on Saturday's - Admission is $15-25 depending what time you get there, sometimes they have really low prices for ladies, but its always before a certain time, I think usually before 10pm ::CONS:: -Fridays they have mostly banda/norteñas on the dance floor -Saturdays they have mostly reggeaton & techno on the main floor - Sun is really mostly banda/norteñas/duranguense -IF you don't get there in time, parking might be hard to find...

This place is nice but a bit pricey for the location, but the worst thing was that the place was packed with over 1500 people and there was no air conditioning!! The humidity felt inside made it feel you were inside a sauna, the floors all wet and the few fans around the ceiling were not turned on!! When I approached an employee about having the fans turn on, he completely ignored me! Good music but terrible place to dance, especially when the temperature outside was around 80 degrees, way better outside than inside, don't waste your money

It was a fine place to go especially since there aren't very many clubs for people under 21. Just make sure u buy tickets to get the deals like "women free before 11 and guys $10 before 11" you have to "buy" the tickets (its free to order them) and show them when you're waking in, other wise it will be about $20 each person. The birthday package also seems like a great deal. A lot of different types of music for everyone to vibe to. Drinks are limited and $4 for a water bottle.

Got kicked out because i was mistaken for somebody else that was apparently harrasing women and i guess i fit the description...needless to say will never go back even though i did get 6 free admissions, and stayed the rest of the night was still still salty about the ordeal though.

The volkan club is the worst place I've been to in my entire life!!! Over selling the VIP section to the point where people were fainting or fighting. I paid over $100 dollars to see my favorite artist (Bad Bunny) and couldn't stay to see him preform or meet him, because of the heat generating from everyone pushing and the waitresses constantly passing behind us, where there was clearly no space. Staff was rude and no body could seem to agree with what line everyone was suppose to be in. The safety aspect of the section,we were In, was seriously scary to the point where if something did happen I am positive we wouldn't have been able to get out. This place is a safety issue and a waste of money. Please refrain from going if your safety means anything to you.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Worst experience I have ever had. The bartenders had no organization and over charged me for drinks that I did not order. They couldn't keep track of the tabs, which is ridiculous if you're a bartender. When trying to talk to them they had no idea what they were talking about they were confused over the easiest tasks. Get new bartenders! The whole establishment was a giant mess. The security was overly rude and incompetent. Don't waste your time and money here.
