It was the first Monday of Comedy night. Rowdy young crowd but I think they just wasn't use to comedy night. They will open up as time goes by. Tacos were delicious. Drinks were good star didn't make em but the guy bartender did.

The owner hosted a taco Tuesday happy hour from 6-8pm we get there at 7::30pm he told me to hold on bc he was on a important call came back at 8:14pm to take my order I asked will uu homer the flyer bc we was here before 8 pm he told me nawl bc he was in the phone with a important call that wasn't his fault and tried to charge me crazy prices wasn't happy then they said it would be comedy show no comedy show what so ever was had

The music was the best part. Service wasn't very friendly which isn't a deal breaker if you just want to drink close by (which was the case for me). However, the $10 pour I had...left me thinking I will find a different local spot to frequent.

I always find some new hole in the wall when I'm wandering around the Southside with friends. This happened to be one of them. Darriens is a low key spot that you would totally drive right pass, not realizing that it's open, let alone a bar. The outside leaves much to be desired, it's a lot, unpaved, whatever. Once you get inside though, it's a pretty nice place. Modern and clean facilities. A little area for dancing with a nice DJ setup. The drinks were good and we were allowed to bring in snacks to munch on at the bar. Service was average. The bartender played card games with some of the patrons. I guess that was cool seeing as she had multiple moments of down time. Be careful of your surroundings and stop in for a drink.

Was there Friday , keep asking when was food going to be ordered. The manager did a poor job of managing that aspect. When food did come he made damn sure he ate first. It took another hour and 15 minutes to get more food. So if you come make sure you eat dinner first folks .
