I was staying at the Hilton Garden Inn which is attached to the Hilton Canopy, around 10pm or so I visited the Depot 226. Mainly a hotel bar (at this time of night) and full of guests catching a night cap & networking. Paul, my bartender and server was amazing, he served me the Pullman Bees Knees-fantastic! With a crowded bar, I sat window side and Paul went out of is way to check on me and help me order food to go. It's not common to see bartenders work the whole front of the house like Paul did, I appreciate his efforts!

Depot was surprisingly a decent choice for breakfast while we were staying at the Canopy. Prices are a bit strong, especially with plenty of quick breakfast choices in the area, but HH members will appreciate the choices here. Note that it's in the style of a café, so if you expect a full-on boomer diner breakfast selection, you might have a fit. However, as a little hotel cafe, it fits in very well, and note that Hilton Garden area does have a breakfast buffet option. All the sandwiches were pretty good and if frittatas are your thing, those were solid. My partner enjoyed the avotoast and subbed in the bagel sandwich for a croissant. They even have a mean breakfast flatbread I didn't get to try, but wanted to when I saw it come out of the oven. The bottled drinks like water and juice is pretty pricy, think like $5, but no complaints at all when it comes to the food. Also shout-out to their sweet treats during lunch hours. The mango tres leche was fire and carrot cake cupcake wasn't too bad either.

Best hamburger I have ever had! Hands down and I don't say it lightly. Service was also wonderful. Great afternoon spot to chill out before heading back out.

Depot 226 is basically a coffee shoppe, a bar and a bistro all-in-one located in the lobby of the Canopy Hotel. There are couple communal tables and long with various sitting areas in the area. The area is very casual and very inviting. The night I was there, I had enjoyed sitting the bar area and enjoying a beer... okay a few beers. There were several groups enjoying themselves in the area. Sandwiches and Frittata are served. In the morning, I had enjoyed one of their juices and the Michigan Cherry Cruffin, which very good. The attendants and the bartenders were very friendly. I would highly recommend spending time at this gem of the hotel.

Used to be 5 stars, but they got rid of literally the best thing on their menu (The Capo, IYKYK). That sandwich was incredible in every way - whoever suggested removing it from the menu should be fired. It was half the reason I would regularly stay at this hotel, so guess I'll have to find a new go-to hotel.

As a general rule, I try to avoid eating in a hotel restaurant; they rarely meet expectations. But this one was fantastic. The focaccia and egg white sandwich was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had.

We are staying at the Hilton garden inn and are enjoying a cocktail before going out for dinner. We love the atmosphere and cocktails! Don't know how to best describe the interior decor; 1920's jazz club mixed with train memorabilia; lots of marble, brass and retro furniture. Definitely recommend to check this place out.

For breakfast only order the frittatas. The Broccoli one is the best. Pastries are dry and old sadly.

Food is meh, service was good as were the drinks. It's in a busy lobby of a hotel. Good for a quick cocktail but I'd eat elsewhere.
