Call dibs on this place when considering which sushi restaurant to eat at. Dib is one of the best and has pretty great prices especially at lunch. It kind of fits in with all the other Asian restaurants in Uptown. Except it has more of a modern feel to it. There's classic and more contemporary options. Best to come at lunch because then they have the best prices and it's not as crowded. It's not that big and fills up pretty fast. The menu has a lot of the classic rolls. Also there's plenty of appetizers. Something for almost any preference. It's about $12 to get the 2 Roll Combo. The ones we got were the Avocado and the Shiitake. Comes with a cup of miso soup but just know this is made with fish broth. The other appetizers include seaweed salad. Also there's a sushi bar option where you can get a few rolls, which is great for groups. These include the classic sashimi and more. For sure this is one of the places to hit up for some rolls in a casual atmosphere. It's closed Mondays. This is located close to the Lawrence CTA station.

Loved this place! The ambiance is so cute and cozy! The food was fresh and fast and the quality of the sushi was great. We sat outside and it was perfect for a chill day. The service was good but could've been a bit more attentive. I feel like we were forgotten a little since we sat outside. The egg rolls were nice and crispy and fresh! The spicy tuna roll was great! Had a nice spice and heaps of tuna inside. The Santa Fe roll was regular/mild, so if u aren't super adventurous this roll is for u. The tom yum roll was a bit too sweet for my taste. It didn't capture the essence of actual tom yum which I think they were trying to recreate. Overall I love this place and will be back! The price and ambiance and quality is amazing. Will try all the Thai dishes next time!

I often pass dib sushi bar and thai cuisine! I finally gave it a try and I will say I was highly pleased. The food was great. I loved the Thai food. The only thing that I wasn't a fan of was the veggies on the sushi platter we had. The waitress that was helping us was really pleasant to chat with about the menu! If you pass dib, you must give DSB&TC a try!

Not a place to go to for nigiri. Maybe better for rolls, but the nigiri and rolls we got were very rice heavy. The rice was also not good and the fish was not the freshest. I think here you get what you pay for. Service is good although they only have one server. Very small place that gives the vibe like it's more for a quick bite. I would not come back and would not recommend if you really love good sushi.

Finally tried this place after being near it a couple of years. We got takeout and ordered a lot. They forgot our egg rolls so that was the first miss. We got a shrimp roll and there was way too much cream cheese. It was bagel coverage territory. The crab ragoons had a very fishy taste. We also got steak teriyaki that looked boiled and was cooked so long chewing was almost impossible. Overall not a great experience. As I mentioned we got a lot of food but still ended up hungry due to picking at what we did have. Overall the food is not great. It is cute on the inside but I saw tables that left their crab ragoons with one bite while picking up the food. Overall not great and most likely won't be giving it a second chance.

I ate here with a group of friends and when we walked in, they seemed busy with takeout orders but we were immediately greeted and sat promptly, even though there were 6 of us and the dining area is pretty small. The server was quick and kind when taking our orders. I went to use the restroom and was told it wasn't working, which is a bummer when dining at a restaurant because people typically will need to use the restroom at some point, but I think they were actively fixing it as it seemed there was somebody drilling into the sewage line outside. I did go in to wash my hands and I laughed out loud at the framed words they had hanging as "decor" (see pictures) I'm not sure if this was done intentionally but, either way, i found it pretty funny. I got ordered lunch special which was a great deal, price wise, for all the food I got! It came with a soup, appetizer and main dish. The Tom Kha soup was spectacular- warm, bright, tangy and creamy. I liked the option to specify your protein even though the soup serving is a small cup. The cucumber salad was refreshing, although the dish it was presented in was not ideal for serving and all of the dressing went to the bottom of the dish and I couldn't really mix it around because I had no room to do so. Lastly, I was looking forward to the drunken noodles but they didn't really hit home. I ordered it because I was craving spice but there wasn't much to it flavor wise and it had maybe a mere *hint* of spice that was just disappointing. I asked for chili paste/sauce and was offered sriracha, this was after maybe 15 minutes of trying to get our server's attention which I understood because she was busy, but I ended up eating half of my non-spicy noodles as to not let my whole dish sit there and get cold. Honestly I would come back for the lunch special deal but would ask for more spice upfront.

We ordered a wide variety of dishes and all were good. Delivery was prompt. Even the pickiest eater was satisfied!

The fish was really fresh and the rolls were well made. It's a super cute spot too. Highly recommend! Can't wait to go back.
