This place is the truth! ordering is quick and easy on a screen the food is made fresh and served hot. My personal favorite is the cilantro beef pie but the dumplings are also great. The servings are MASSIVE. You get 4 pies for $12 and one pie is almost enough for a meal if you're really hungry you might be able to eat two in one sitting. So you're getting 2-4 meals for a steal! The food court is clean and I've always been able to get a seat but it can get busy. The staff all speaks mandarin but know enough english to call out your name.

I got the spicy beef egg pancake. Firstly, it was EXTREMELY greasy. Next, it was very hard and messy to eat - it came in a takeout box as one large wrap basically. It would have been more convenient to eat if it was cut in half or thirds. The grease was definitely the worst part of it. I almost gave up on eating it but didn't want a total of ~$16 to go to waste. Maybe I'm just not familiar enough with dongbei cuisine, but it was a no for me. The wait was also oddly long for this one item, about 20 minutes. The only redeeming points I guess are that the ladies working there were pretty nice and helpful in my experience, and they have a couple kiosks you can order from. This place is located in the cafeteria at 88 Marketplace in Chinatown.

I'm never going here again... I've tried coming here TWICE and thought that my first experience might just been a fluke with how other people seem to have really enjoyed the food. My first time I tried the beef pie which came soaking in hot oil and practically inedible. I had to poke a hole in it to drain the thing without burning myself and even then it wasn't enjoyable. The second time I got pot stickers which I've add a photo of. These pot sticker are disgraceful. They didn't even take the time to close them so they would fall apart as I ate them. Along with this, they were also covered in oil which killed my stomach. I expect that pot stickers are at least a bit crispy but these could barely be considered them as they just the slightest frying from the pan. I'm never coming back here and I hope you can find somewhere better than this pathetic Chinese restaurant

Glad to see this location getting some recognition as well! This location has an item that the 88 marketplace food court doesn't have and it's my favorite - the pork face flat bread. Sooo decadent and delicious and the pork is literally melt in your mouth. This location is in the basement of the Richland center food court

This Northern Chinese dumpling/snack shop has two Chinatown locations and this one is located in the 88 Marketplace food court. For a lunch snack, we picked up 8 very freshly made pan-fried steamed beef buns for $10.99. They were tip-top delicious too and at under $1.50 per bun quite a nice value. The Northern Chinese style dough is by design on the denser side, so I found that even after just 10 minutes of ambient cooling, the buns were not quite as super-delectable as right out of the steamer piping hot, but still like 4.75 instead of 5 stars good. Excellent eating and highly recommended!

You can't go wrong with this ham hocks in soup noodles. The pork hocks were tender and were well balanced by the noodles. The broth was light and completed a great spoonful of food.

If I could, I would give this place negative ten stars. We went there recently. First of all, the service was absolutely atrocious! The lady behind the check-out counter (the one in the picture wearing the purple shirt) did not know how to handle orders or her staff. She had 8-10 orders slips laid out in front of her randomly, so she didn't know which order came first and which came last. When a dish came out, she randomly searched the orders to find a match, then just called it out. As a result, some people got their order within mins, while others had to wait a long time. We ordered four items and waited an hour and half to get all of them, that's with me literally standing in front of the counter the last 30-40 mins asking her to check our order everytime a dish came out. Since they mainly serve stuffed pancakes or potstickers, most of the dishes looked the same from the outside. On top of all these confusion, this lady had the worst attitude when people asked if their orders were ready. She would yell out "where were you?! I called your name!" She told one customer her order was not ready yet. When the customer patiently said "I'll wait on the side." The lady actually muttered "yeah, what else can you do!" Last but not least, our pork buns were undercooked, the meat was very pink. Remeber this was pork, not beef. It was an agonizing experience to say the least. With the many great restaurant choices in Chinatown, we certainly would never go back there again, never.

The dumplings were so fresh and outstandingly delicious. The soup on the side was amazing fresh and hot and delicious very healthy and I highly recommend coming here!

A rare Northern Chinese restaurant that holds it's own entirely. This place has a number of specialities that they do incredibly well. Some of my particular favorites are the mixed-meat pies, beef dumplings, and pork wrap. Go to Xi'an Cuisine for the noodles/soups and go to Dong Bei Ren Jia for the Roujiamo, dumplings, and pies. 88 Marketplace is such an amazing place to go for diverse regional Chinese food. Make sure to stop here as their food is incredible and so comforting
