It's important to know that this skating rink has specific time slots for different age groups, birthday parties etc. so call or check their website ahead. You save some money if you bring your own skates, I was the only one in my party without skates. It was pretty easy to get skates. They have security with metal detectors & they check your bags & purses. Which by the way, you're not allowed to have your purse on the skating rink. No worries, they have lockers you can rent for a $1 I believe. There's a bowling alley & arcade games for those who don't like to skate. The food was ok, we ordered Icees & nachos. They have vending machines as well. For the smaller kids, they have those skate assistance walkers or whatever they are called for rent. The music was loud & awful the DJ pretty much played the same type of music, which I didn't enjoy. If I return, it will be during the daytime.

Dirty floor (mud and liquid spills), Hard-core rap isn't skating music, rude young employees, and how do you place a sign on the dj booth saying no request for music but the workers (who were dressed in street clothes with hoodies on their head kept skating into the dj booth changing the music to chief keef and other hood music that's not skate music... horrible experience..

Just come fed cause the kitchen is so slow and always backed up, and I had to go look for my host on more than one occasion, I paid too much money for my daughter's 13th birthday and it was a horrible experience I'll never go back

Just not my cup of tea this place feels unsafe and unprofessional. Just do yourself a favor run and don't look back

My student organization and I have MLK bowling and skating family center on our list for a party size over 30 people: family time and fun. I'm aware of negative activities in that area but I have to remember people and their risky actions can bring down good businesses. Yesterday, I had a thorough tour when they were closed; and very impressed meeting Cedella (over the phone and in person). She was attentive, professional, friendly, and seemed to know how to book orders for a large party. She provided additional ideas/service dates so our group can have a great customer experience. Just had my daughter 7th birthday party on 2/10/24 and although they gave my chicken tenders I paid for away to another table!!!!! My whole party enjoyed!!!!

If I could give this establishment 0. I only came to WARN my fellow Chicago parents and other groups who want to book at this place of business. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Let's start with Lanika Bragg who is sales and Event Manager is of zero help to you at all. This employee will rush you off the phone so fast before you can even get a question out. I booked my son's 5th birthday party here and it was totally waste of money booking it here. We paid a 1000 for not only receiving all of our food. But a stranger was sleeping at a table while around kids were running and playing. Keep in mind I BOOKED a PRiVATE party for a 5 yr old, so just image the concern parents that I had coming to me regarding this issue. Our pizzas were burnt, so much you couldn't even eat the crust I had to send back 4 pizzas so at some point I just F it. I just got a picture of what we could. It was just too much I couldn't picture! Some of the glow sticks didn't even glow so only half of my guest (kids) got sticks.Embarrassing ! We paid for a Sonic character for the party this character only stayed with our party less then 20mins the 1st time he/she came out 10mins to greet our guest. Our guest had been there for an hour before the character came out !So much time had passed I had to ask for this character to even come out. However next time it seen was to sing happy birthday. 20 mins is giving this person a lot of credit the time was mostly less !! The party was booked for 2 hrs. Oh wait I paid for an extra hour and didn't even get that!! So basically what I paid 1000 for was burnt pizza that you couldn't even eat the crust, pops, skating for 2 hrs, glow sticks that didn't work, Sonic character for less then 20mins Total, a invited sleeping man and security that didn't once tell this man to remove himself from the party place. I am waiting to hear back from corporate to make this right.

Daughter summer camp had a field trip here that I chaperoned. There is nothing I can say that hasn't already been said, so I'm just going to say this and leave it at that. This place is on 76th and Racine on the SouthSide in the Hood. Don't waste your time or risk your life. Enough said....

I don't like this place Not between the hours is 3 and 6pm on a Saturday What ,a nightmare it was my niece bday skate party Hate to say, but I came late purposely to lessen my time Ugh it's the patron it attracts as well my sister booked 3 tables All day we had to keep after people move and respect the space Just blantant disregard for people reserve space and area that purchased If your event did reserve enough space for you Oh well you can just go plop you butt down anyway I felt like I was going to have take it there, numerous times We all there to celebrating and enjoying so respect everyone There should be a limited on patrons at a time Its like it was at capacity, like fire hazard stays even The food was so/so Cake was bought in thank God The service lack they are too busy to attend to any party appropriately The music not kid friend you don't have to put on club music for children but everyone does share my sentiments Glad to be gone and survived

the food service was horrible it took almost an hr... when I got my food I had to pick through some over size party wings me it to the manager and he didn't give two fucks about what I was saying
