I bought a 5 record set of the Bitchin' Bajas. I first clean all records on a VPI brush/vacuum machine and then a Degritter ultrasonic. Bajascillators a great sounding 45rpm record had noises toward end of side 1 and all throughout side 2. It was way past 30days so I bought another copy of that album 'cause the good parts sounded really good. The 2nd copy had the same exact noises. I wrote through two different ways to contact them asking if they could help. Never got a reply to either one of my inquiries. It is also interesting that, on their site to contact them, there is no category for problem with a purchase. Never again will I buy anything from them.

While it's a pretty damn good record, I'd like to register a significant warning regarding Ty Segall & White Fence's recent release "Joy." The reality is that although there's a cat & dog on the album cover, the first sounds on each side can be quite disturbing to pets at home. Both the birds squawking on the A side + the dogs barking/growling on the B side registered considerable fear in our little kitty, Oscar. I'd urge this label, and others to issue a warning so as to avoid such discomforts amongst furry friends at home. Other than this minor drawback, it's a killer release.

Love this record label. Best ever!! We go here whenever we are in Chicago. Buy yourself some Ty Segal, Smog, Bonnie Prince Billy, and No Age records. You won't regret it. Best staff and friendly customer service.

Worst dining experience ever! Me and my date got there a little early to beat the dinner crowd. The place is in a warehouse district on the west side and one wouldn't even know it was there if you weren't in the know. We were buzzed up and once we reached their space on the second floor we stood there waiting to be seated. NOTHING. After about 20 minutes we decided to seat ourselves. There was no silverware, no waters, no menus... The music playing was a bit loud and didn't really set a fine dining mood at all. Now don't get me wrong... I like mom and pop places as much as the next guy and I think I am pretty easy going about etiquette and service as long as the food is good... but these folks were practically ignoring us all together. Instead of welcoming us and serving us food, they all seemed to be either working on their computers, talking on the phone, or filling mail orders. After a while we realized this place didn't even have a damn kitchen! In fact, not only do they not serve food, they are some sort of record label! I am not making this up! A DAMN RECORD LABEL!! Well screw that! My date and I left in a huff, not that anyone noticed! I will NEVER EVER eat there again!
